Webb, Parker "Did you hear about Marty offing himself?" Why it's my favorite as it was out of nowhere and caught me by surprise the sudden ask about Marty made it my favorite as I like stories that can catch me off guard. 2. 8/10. I like dark and sad stories it's weird but they catch my eye for writing and it was really well. 3. I think it exists to help show grief and humanity to people what loneliness can do to someone if they don't feel cared for.
My favorite line had to be when the parrot spoke and said, "eat sh **, and die, that added some comical relief to the story. 8/10 mainly got to the point and was very realistic. To show a story about real-life situations that actually happen.
Meinert My favorite sentence was when she found the guy hanging and the face was purple/blue, eyes were rolled back. This is my favorite because it tells you how the guy felt about himself.
I would rate this a 7 because I liked that it was kind of in the moment. I didn't like it because it didn't have why he hung himself.
This story exists because the writer thought this would be a good story.
My favorite sentences from this book are the restaurant was teeming like an anthill or like an enormous aquarium overstocked to the brim with churning, squirming fish with laughing. this is my favorite because it describes the restaurant really well like how it was being there and how packed it was.
my rating of this book is about 7/10 because it is not too bad and not too boring and it is right in the middle and very interesting.
I think this story excites us because it is telling people on how people are grieving what people take in and just have to deal with what they say and just take it in and go away from it.
She reached the table without Incident. I don't knot why it's my favorite. 7/10 Because it was a good story just didn't leave it. To always have peoples bvak make sure everyone is ok.
Favorite sentence: The restaurant was teeming like an anthill or like an enormous aquarium over-stocked to the brim with churning, squirming fish, with laughing, chattering people of all stripes and shapes, ages and races, caught in a frenzy of fun food fetish, gobbling the world up and chasing it down with liters of wine and, frosty beers.
I would rate this story a 6/10, I would rate it that because it was good but I did not love it.
I think this story exists to show that once people see certain stuff they cannot unsee it.
Hamner my favorite sentence is "I like your style, but there is more to life". The reason I liked that one is that she has hope and a will to live even when she doesn't have the greatest life. I rate this book 7/10. the reason I chose that rating is that it never says why he did it and why she cares so much about him. This story exists to show that more people care about you more than you think.
When she was out smoking with c.c cause that shows that she has people at work that she can talk about. 5 because I don't get into books that much and I don’t care much to read them To show what happens when you see something like that you can't unsee it Anderson
My favorite quote from the story is “But there’s more to life” at the bottom of page 12. This is my favorite quote because I agree with it. I agree that there is more to life then “eat and die.” I believe that there is so much more to life with some hard work and goals.
My book rating is 7/10, I rated this book as such because I liked how I was able to relate to it because it was about real people and a place that I know and have been to before.
I think this story exists so people can relate to it more then they can to probably most other stories. Biren
1. My favorite sentence from the story is Driving dow Hamilton Boulevard, she scanned the stores and restaurants on either side of the street, the strip malls, the Heelan High School football stadium, the cathedral jutting into a yellow-gray sky, a Sioux City sky. This is my favorite sentence because I like how it explains in detail what is in the town and what the town is but also because it explains in detail what the sky looks like.
2. My rating for this story is 7 out of 10. I rate the story like this because it was a good story and I like it but it is not the best story I have read before. I rate it like this because I am kind of in the middle with this story.
3. Why does this story exist? I think that this story exists because it has a little bit of History in it.
My favorite sentence from the story is at the beginning when robbin finds the young cook died because it gives us a very powerful scene to visualize and you will never know if you had feelings for the person until you lost them for good. My rating of the story is a 7/10 because it brings up common things in our society like children being raised poorly and how it feels like you have no one in that scenario or situation and suicide has gone up. This story exists because it shows that that suicide is common and having a very bad family is possible and it can make anyone feel alone and scared, no one to turn, this story brings up common problems in our society.
"She knew only that she had never wanted so much to be alone" this my favorite sentence because I feel sometimes people need to be alone and away from society and think about what happened or what is happening to ourselves. Rate 9 because it talks about something that can be real and that can happen to anyone and like her buss made her work that can happen to us too. This exists because of authors like him id traying to give to the society a little bit of reality because of those there is not too many like fiction histories that multiples of them.
Thinking about it now and about chad, the night-shift manager, telling her she had to suck it up and work through the shift because the place was swamped, she moved from anger to sorrow and back again while she put the last touches on her makeup and checked details on her uniform. I would rate this story 8 because it is pretty interesting and it is showing us how the people in the past understand most stories. This story probably exists because it really teaches people to be strong and it tells an example of how being strong is the key to everything that we do and will do in the future. If she wasn't strong she could've not stayed in the room for that much time but even though she was frightened in the first time she got used to it later. Also, the stories are pretty realistic and it feels like it is happening at this time.
Thinking about it now the manger told the girl that she had to suck it up and continue the shift because they were to busy to take the time and here what the girl had to say. I would rate this story a soild 9 because it was somewhat good I feel as if the part where the manger was rude to the girl was very wrong. If my manger said that to me i wouldve just walked out. This story teaches people how to hold it together and be strong and take care of others no matter what is going on in your life.
