You can notice the story is really about abortion when the man keeps repeating how if she does it then they can do a lot more and how its kind of her choice but still trying to push her over the edge about how great it would be to just have the two and no one else. And he also says that they should drink to the nights away, which she doesn't think that is the greatest idea when she wants to keep the baby and not aboard it.
The two parts that were very smart were one, how he used the trains going opposite directions let the reader decide really what it meant for the story which I thought that it signifies one way being the decision of keeping the child and the other train signifying to abort the child. And for the second one, when it shows that the man will argue with anything the girl will say which kinda shows that he is very stubborn and needs to prove something even though he is wrong.
I like it due to the fact that I tend to not understand books/ stories off of reading them once and it's hard for me to go back and remember what I read after a few minutes or longer.

What I can really notice what the story is really about is how hills like white elephants are like a game where you put a tricky present into a gift and you exchange it with someone for a trick and fun and games because it is pretty funny what their reactions are when they open up the box or present with something funny inside. Where I can tell what the story is actually about is when the two people are talking and you try to understand what they are talking about and they are talking about getting an abortion is when I really saw what the story was about. The two that are well done in this story is how he describes the story and by not giving it out so it just keeps on going right along with the story making it more interesting and things just keep piling up till the end of the story where it tells everything about the story. Yes it is a good thing to read a short story once in a while so that people understand it because some people don’t understand stories that well and yes I appreciate when we go over it because I don’t know what is going on in the story and it is helpful when we go over it so we can get an understanding of it.

It is about abortion and disiding if they should keep the child or not. What he does best is not really telling what is about that much you would have to know this guy or think like him to understand him. Also he does well describing what they are doing but when they talk it get confusing. It is okay I personally didn't like it that much it. I couldn't understand what they where going on about. It was cool to read more than once because then we can understand it better but with that story, no matter how many times you read it or i read it i would have never found out what they were talking about. Will there be more stories like that or are they going to be able to tell us what is going on a little better. I don't know what to say its just that it was really jumping around the main idea i fell like there could have been more to the story and less of that one sean. But still it was a okay story to read there was some things that I personally didn't like or don't care for but that is just my opinion, some people might like these types of storys im just not one of them.

Where can I notice what “Hills Like White Elephants” is really about? The man says “It’s really an awfully simple operation”, “it’s not really an operation at” he also says they just let the air in and it’s all-natural and them once its done they will be back to normal and happy. What two parts of “hills like white elephants” are well done by Ernest Hemingway. The two parts that are done the best in “Hills Like White Elephants” is when he describes how the lady is looking and of what she is looking at or touching like the description “the girl looked at the bead curtain, put her hand out and took half of two of the strings beads.” He put so much description of how it looked. Or the description in the fields of grains and how the cloud moved across them and when she saw the river through the trees. Is it cool to read a short story a couple times to fully understand and appreciate it? Why or why not. I think it is interesting because each time you read the story you learn more about the story and you catch up on more things.
Where can I notice what the story is really about? Around ¾ of the way through the book is where I realized what it was about. I realised where it said the bank of ebro because that means the bank of ebros. What two parts of the story are well done by Ernest Hemingway? One thing that he did well is that he kind of hinted at us what the story was about but didn't tell us what the story is about directly so it kind of us made us think which is really good to do. He also made it a cool visual to the story like he made a good conversation that we could visualize but still didn’t till is directly. Is it cool to read a short story a couple times to fully understand and appreciate it? Why/why not? It could be cool sometimes if we don’t understand it or are confused and don’t understand the story at all and need to read it again to understand. But it also can not be cool if we already understand it and you you keep reading it over can make the story boring to me but if we dont know whats going on in the story.

I notice that the story really begins when the man asks what she wants to drink. Later on in the story, we find out that she is pregnant and the mountains look like white elephants.you can also notice that the girl is pregnant in the story.

1.the two parts that the story is well done is when the lady said that the hills look like a white elephant.
2. The second one is when the man leaves her to move the bags before the train comes and they leave.

If you don’t understand the story it is cool to read the story more than once. I think of it as a movie you watch it more than once to get a better understanding of the movie or book or even a short story. It is also trying to figure out how to solve a puzzle by thinking it over. The puzzle is fun when you have to figure out what is going on.

I started to notice what the story was about during when they said it'd ‘And if I do it you’ll be happy and things will be like they were and you’ll love me?’’ is the quote that started to make me think that something was up with the girl and it wouldn't be the story I thought it was as I got intrigued and realized it was a dark story as I started to think about it. My favorite two parts are the opening and the closing because I started the story thinking it was going to be amusing and as I read on it'd started to unravel and at the end showing and asking if she is feeling better and she said she's "Fine " I got curious and started to wonder what is happening between these two one is rich and speaks a different language and the guy could be older while the girl seemed not naive but nervous and scared. I loved reading this again and again it was intriguing, to say the least, but it started to grow on me over the weekend as I was thinking about it more and it honestly is a sad tale in my eyes now.

After reading the story Hills Like White Elephants multiple times it is easier to understand the story for its real meaning. I couldn't tell that the real meaning was about abortion until we read it for the second time. I like stories like this where it makes you think what it really means. I could tell it was talking about abortion when he talks about drinking beer. When you are pregnant you aren't supposed to drink alcohol. I think that Ernest Hemingway did a good job of putting the story in the right setting as he put his at the train station. After knowing that the story was about abortion everything made way more sense. I think it is important to read short stories multiple times to fully understand them. I think this because, with stories like this with meanings that you can't always see, you have to go back again to understand the whole picture. The title of the story also makes total sense, because in a white elephant gift exange you get gifts you may not want but you have to keep them no matter what. So I think that this story is very cool because it makes you think twice about what the real meaning really is.
I notice what the story is about when the man said its an awfully simple operation its really not an operation at all that is when I notice because I started thinking that this could be about a medical operation and they were drinking beer so then I started to put the pieces together and i starting thinking about maybe this is about an abortion or something that is really stressful. I think the first part where Hemingway did his best is when the girl started saying she will do it because she doesn’t care about herself, why I think this is because its telling/showing us that the man wants her to do this operation but she doesn’t get a choice whether if she wants to do it or not this is showing how much the gender imbalance there is between men and woman during that time and to this day. I think the second part where Hemingway did his best is when the man said that all of this could be ours and women says that it can’t be ours, the reason why I like this part is because it's showing us that the man says that they can everything but the women just wants the baby she doesn’t want everything that the man is talking about she just wants the baby but the man doesn't want the baby. I think it is cool to read a couple of short stories because every time you read you learn something more to the story.

The man was engorging her that she should not have the baby. Is kinda forced his way to persuade her to not have the baby he tell all these things about if you do this he loves her. And the woman said I would do it because she doesn't care for herself but she cares for the man and she said she would do anything for the man.
Some of the parts of the story I like is how the narrerotell tell the story with given out what he is talking about the way he writes his word I didn't even know what he was talking about until we read it the third time in class about how the girl was pregnant.
I think it okay to read short cause it is kinda interesting to read a book again cause you can go back to the book and read it again and to understand what the book it tries to tell you about the story.

Where I started to notice what the story is really about is the part where he started talking to her and even the ending of the story also helped me out on figuring out what the story is about. The two parts that I thought were well done was the beginning where the author is talking about the hills across the valley of the Ebro were long and white. I think this beginning part was well done because he is describing what the hills across the valley are like. The second part of the story that I thought was well done was ending where the author was talking about them getting ready to go on the train. I think that it is a good idea to read the story a couple times or over and over again because then you can understand it better and you can understand better on what the story is about and what is going on in the story. Reading it more than once can also help you understand what the author is trying to tell you and what the author wants you to take from the story.

‘‘Would you please please please please please please please stop talking?’’ This part of the story when she is saying that you can tell that something is ha[ppenening that she is not happy with and he is a bad person.
It is really cool to read a couple times a story that your not fully understands the first time because sometimes when your reading a story you forget to leave good points in the story that can explain better for you. Sometimes we don’t understand the things the first time and we might read a part that didn’t make sense to us but, if you read it for the second time you might notice or understand things that the first time you did not. This is the first time that I have read something like this and this gives a new experience for me. It never is bad to read twice a book or watch a movie.
This story I feel as if it is related to abortion. The reason why I say that is because it seems as if the girl doesn't want to have a connection to the guy. I also feel that the guy treats the girl poorly and she doesn't want to have to raise her kid with that guy. I started noticing this towards the beginning of the story and a little bit towards the end. The middle part was very interesting because he did a good job explaining it I think. It took awhile for me to understand the meaning but now I know what the meaning was meant. The good part that ernest did was when the lady begged him to be quite over and over. If you like it you will understand it you will have to take the time to understand it and not just be like okay all done. Or say I don't understand this when you don't even bother to pay attention in class.
The story is talking about abortion. The man is saying how easy it is to abort a baby. He doesn't understand how the risk of life for the baby and for the mother is.
It is cool to read a short story a couple times to fully understand and appreciate it. It gives people the opportunity to realize how bad it is and not just an easy thing to do for life.
The more you read something the more opportunity you have to learn new things.

I believe this part of the story is well done because it tells other people how bad it is and not an easy thing to do.
I can start to notice what the story’s real meaning is when the man starts saying that the “process” is nothing. I’m not sure what the question means on the two parts of the story. I feel like reading a story a couple of times does help with understanding the story better and understanding what the meaning of the story is supposed to be.
