Bruce The main idea about this film is to show how the characters change over time and how they look up to their parents just how Simba and did to his dad when he died. Also this is about to show how gender can tell who is stronger and which they should there is a lot of examples in this movie like when Nala saw Simba in the forest with the pig and the weasel and when she scared Simba and they started to fight and Nala won and she said afterward that were have you been everyone thought that you died and the pride rock as been taken over by the hyenas and scar. What are some possible solutions for the problem of Simba father dying Is how scar blamed him dying on Simba which he really didn’t do it so then it would look like scar was the king and everyone would look up to him and then later in the movie when Simba came back and he said that scar has a secret to tell him and he did before he fell off the edge of the rock and said I was the one that killed your dad and he fell off the rock. Which one is the best is when Nala went to go find Simba to come back and save where he grew up at is the best and why. Why that one is the best is because it shows how Nala is adventurous and is caring and that she wanted were they grew up back to normal because it is dark and gloomy and sad out and no rain and she wanted to change that so everyone is happy again and so that they can live a better life. What are the strengths and weaknesses of this movie? The strengths of this movie are how they show passionate about each character like Simba and Nala and their relationship between them. The weakness of this movie especially if a little kid is going to watch is that there is a lot of fear in this movie and scary sounds and fighting and how it shows dark is overcoming the world there. What do you still not understand? What I don’t understand is how and why the scar is like scary and mean and puts negative things on Simba and his dad and how he thinks everything is funny and he really wants Simba dad to die. What do you think about causes? What I think that causes this movie is how which one wants to stand out and want to be the king like Simba says he just can’t wait to be king when he sings that and the animation changes so Disney like so it is more kids like and colorful and fun.
The questions that I have chosen will be 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9
2) How are Nala and Mufasa alike? I think they are alike due to the fact that they are both wise and they help Simba along the way through his troubles and worries. And Simba helps Nala along by coming back and saving Pride Rock, and I would rather not have just one of them as a leader, I think both should rule together as one. Due to the fact that they will help each other out on decisions that not just one of them can figure out.
3) What are the strengths and weaknesses of Simba? There are parts in the movie where he gives up on something way to quick and that would go towards being his weakness, where his strength is when he is determined to do something that he believes in, there is nothing that can stop him.
4)In what way are Mufasa and Scar related? My idea is that they are obviously brothers and I think that they have the same mom and dad too. Just I think that Scar didn't take care of himself as a kid and Mufasa did which kind of goes to the fact that Mufasa was the good child and was awarded for being the good one and working hard to be king, where Scar I think was the brother who didn't care at all due to the fact that since he was the oldest “I don't have to do much because I'm going to be king no matter what”, But later bite him in the butt for not caring.
6)What do you think causes the rain not to fall on Scar’s Kingdom? I think that God was punishing him for the way he has been all the years of being not worthy and carless since Scar thought that it would be all fine and dandy if he just killed his brother and get away from it. God had other ideas.
8)Which one is the best fit for a king and why? I think Simba is the best for a king, not only to the fact that it is the way they have been for many years. But also the fact that he has gone through what many kings have not gone through and that's what truly makes him the best fit for it, And from going through the hardship of fighting for his kingdom and knowing what it is like to have nothing when he ran away, That basically prepares him to be king and makes him appreciate everything more.
9) What are some possible solutions to the problem of having a selfish king? Well like I said, a king should know what it is like to have nothing and not be just grown up next to the throne, mainly because, they will learn to not take everything for granted and look at everything in a better way not just for him but for his kingdom.
riley Schroeder How are simba and mufasa the same? The both are lions that had to have a talking to by there fathers. What is the main idea of the hyenas? The are to represent a different class of citizen in the world. What are the strengths and weakness of scar? He is a smart guy but he is jealous of is brother and wants the throne and he is not strong. In what way is scar related to simba? Scar is the uncle of simba. Compare mufasa and scar with regards to how they ruled the kingdom? Mufosa keeped the balance and all the animals were still there wall he was alive. But scar when he took power it stopped raining and all the animals left then he let in a bunch of hyenas. What do you think causes the rain to stop? Because scar took the throne with skill and tactics but they think that there should only be one kind of king. How does this movie tie into are lessons? It helps us use more naritalgi. So we can try to find the hidden meaning behind stuff that might not have it but still over think it. Witch one is the best fighter and why? Mufasa is because he is the one that protects the pride lands and he fights against other animals that can out number him. What are some possible solutions for the problem of all the food leaving? Easy just leave where you are at and go find some place that has the stuff that you need then settle there. Do you disagree or agree with this state mint: it didn't have a state mint. What do i still not under stand about narontaligy is what is the definition of it i don't remember what it was. Simba was a spoiled lion that wanted the hole world under his control and didn't think about what would he have to do if he got it. Scar was the same as simba when simba was a child. Scar wanted the hole world and didn’t the that there would be a cost for what he takes. Mufasa knew what he was doing and only wanted a certain part of the world just enough so he could control it and to get over thrown by other animals . but he did not expect his brother to take his thrown. Nala was a strong lion at a young age she would always beat simba in matches she was also smarter then him but for some reason she always wanted him to be on the throne when she could have taken it for her self and she saported simba in a lot of hard times.
Hamner Select six of the stem questions on the right side of this blog, fill in the blanks and answer the questions. Four hundred and fifty words in total.
Question one, How are Mufasa and Simba related. Mufasa and Simba are related because they both are king, another reason they look the same is that they both look the same and are supposed to be strong and supposed to rule pride rock. They both were born into strong and royal families to the land. Question two what is the main idea of the movie the Lion King. The main idea of the lion king is to teach kids that an accident that happened does not have to control your life and that there will always be a part of your parent or someone you look up to will be in you and you will always have a purpose in life and to never forget that. Question three what are the strengths and weaknesses of scar. The strengths of scar are that hi is smart for not having a perfect like and he can be too smart for his own good because he can manipulate people into thinking bad about themselves and making them think that they did something wrong when scar is really the one who started all of the problems. The weaknesses of scar are that he does not have a strong “lion” body he is very small and skinny so he is lacking physical strength. He is also lacking in “guts” he can not do his bad and unloyal actions to his family like killing his brother and nephew so he has the hyenas do it because Simba and Mufasa are not related to them so the hyenas won't care. The hyenas just want to kill animals for fun and for food. Scar is also corrupt and doesn't really know how to run for the king he just knows how to be controlling and demanding but he doesn't know how to work with others. Question four, In what way is scar like timone. Scar is controlling and the leader of the hyenas and only really cares about himself and wants things his way and he is overdramatic. Timone is like Scar because he is the leader of Pumba and controls him and belittles him but “helps” him to make him think good and doesn't care about the other things that are less than him. Question five, What do you think causes scars jealousy. What I think causes his jealousy is that scar didn't have a great life and was treated poorly by who he was raised by so he wants Mufasa's life because he is king and his life is perfect and he wants that position so badly that he kills his brother and tried to kill his nephew and when he becomes ruler he doesn't know how to rule so everything dies. Question six, what are some possible solutions for the problem of Simba feeling bad about himself. Some solutions are that he could have just lived with it and went back to pride rock to try and make his dad happy even though he is dead or he could have listened to Mufasa to not be places he shouldn't have and shouldn't have listened so scar about the things he did.
How are Simba and Nala alike in the movie? I think that they are alike in many ways one of them is that they grew up together so they act in many of the same ways except for there mindset on the way things should be run in the kingdom. Nala also was stronger than Simba the whole movie and taught him some moves that he then used on scar when Scar was fighting him at the end of the movie.
What is the main idea of the movie? I think that the main idea of the movie is to show how some kids don’t know how much their parents mean to them till there gone. At the beginning of the movie Simba was singing a song that he just can’t wait to be king, so basically he is subconsciously wishing his died was dead so he could be king. Toward the end of the movie Rafiki, the baboon shows Simba that his father Mufasa is still living inside of him and that he is the true king and not scar.
What do you think caused the drought? I think that when Scar had the throne and Simba was gone the Loin gods wouldn’t let it rain till the true king was in power. When Scar told Simba to run and never return the lion gods wanted the land to fail and for scars people to turn against him and that Simba should come back to change all of that.
What are some possible solutions to get Scar out of power? I think that the female lions are strong enough to take out scar but scar rallied with all the hyenas and thats what made him strong. They needed someone to tell them what to do such as Simba. And that’s what happened, Simba came back and they took out scar and Scar in the process said something to make all the hyenas to turn against him.
Which one is the best role model and why? I think that Mufasa was the best role model for Simba until he died then Simba ran away. Timon and Pumba were there for Simba but they were not good role models. I think that Rakiki the baboon had the best information for Simba.
How was Rafiki related to Mufasa? I think that Rafiki is related to Mufasa because he is so wise and that's who taught Mufasa how to be such a good parent. This shows later in the movie when Rafiki is showing Simba that his dad still lives in him.
What do I still not understand why Simba was so stubborn in going back? I don’t understand why he wouldn’t go back when Nala found him in the forest.
Ariah Helseth What do you think causes scar to be against Simba and Mufasa? I think scar is against Simba and Mufasa because Scar is jealous that he can't be king and that he is not high in royalty like Mufasa and Simba are. In what way is Scar related to Simba and Mufasa? Scar is related to Simba because Scar is Simba's Uncle and Scar is related to Mufasa because Scar is Mufasa's brother. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Simba? Some of the strengths of Simba are that he is brave, willing to try new things, Smart, good at singing, and good at roaring. Some of the weaknesses of Simba are that he keeps running away from his past, he puts himself down at the times he thinks that he was the one who caused his dad to die, and when he says that he is not the king. What is the main idea of the Lion King movie? The main idea is that the lions are the rulers of the pride lands and that the circle of life keeps going on and that all the animals are connected in the circle of life. How does The Lion King tie in with what we have learned before? It ties in because we have been learning narratology and there is narratology in this movie. Which one is the best character and why? I think that Mufasa and Simba are the best characters because they both protect and care about the circle of life and they are good kings and they care about everything in the circle of life. They are also brave and strong and smart. How are Mufasa and Simba alike? They both care and protect the circle of life and they both protect their families. What do you still not understand about Scar? I still don’t understand if Scar was once good and then turned evil or if Scar was always evil. What are some possible solutions to the problem of the Hienas? I think that they could try to make peace with them somehow and maybe offer them something that would help the hyenas or maybe if they could make peace with them maybe they could let them stay in the pride land and the great circle of life. I think that this movie is a good movie and this movie is one of my favorite Disney movies that I did watch when I was a kid and that I still watch to this day.
1. How are Simba and Scar alike? Simba and Scar have a lot similarities. Simba is a lion that wanted to be the king and wanted to control everything as Scar but I think Simba wanted to do it in a good way. Scar Wanted to be the king too but he just wanted all power for himself and he wanted to be the king of everything and he could do anything to get the throne up to kill the real king and his descendants. Each one of them wanted the same things but with the differents ways to rule.
2. What is the main idea of the lion king? The main idea of the lion king is that l circle of life how is everyone is related to everyone and how the food chain is made and who is on top of it. Gender is a very important in the movie and how is related to real life and how in other countries are like that. Man has power over the women and even the women has more smart or stronger than the men they are not able to overpass the man in power.
3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Simba? Some strengths of Simba are that he is brave in things as a protecting we are talking about. When timon and puumba were in dangerous when his friend wanted to eat them we came up and fight to protect the ones that loves and he can give his life for the ones that he loves. Simba weaknesses are that he doesn’t want to face his past, he is scared of what they will say to him.
4. In what way is the lion king related to real life? The Lion King is related to real life because there are some pieces of move shows how the man is over the woman and the woman cannot challenge the man for the power as where nala was smarter than Simba and stronger than him and she couldn't take the kingdom because of the fact that she is a female. The circle in life when Mufasa said to Simba as rich people have above of poor people they need each other but the rich always take advantage of poor people.
5. Compare puumba and timon with regard to loyalty. Timmon and puumba are very loyal to Simba because when he lived them and save his kingdom from scar they went where Simba was and told them that they are with him. How are they loyal? Well they follow him do not even care if they were going to make it alive after that fight but their loyalty gives them the encurenage to fight the bad guys.
6. What do you think causes hatred and selfishness? Scar is terribly selfish because he just wanted to be king and get the food and everything just for him and he wanted everyone to step in their knees to him and he did not care about other animals and the only one who he cares about is himself.
How are Simba and Mufasa alike? I'm going to start with the easy stuff that the both have the same color of fur since they are father and son. They almost look like twins if mufasa was still alive when simba was older. They both show great bravery mufasa king of the pride lands and simba tries to follow his father his footsteps even tho he has some obstacles in his life he still does try. Also both their girlfriends look a lot alike they both got the same color of fur. They look like twins also which is crazy. Another similarity is that they are both related to scar and scar is out to kill both of them because he wants to be king. What do you still not understand about Scar? I do not understand why mufasa hates scar and scar hates mufasa they are brothers but I do not know why they are against each other, I think that they got different treatment as kids which would be my guess that since mufasa was stronger he was treated better by their dad and he was taught how to be king which caused them to be against each other. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Simba? Simba's strengths are that he is brave or at least tries to be he went into the elephant graveyard because he thought doing that would make him brave even though it was scary. Also another strength is that he has regret when he does stuff bad because if he didn’t then he would do bad stuff and not even regret or think about it. His weakness he is not very strong it is proven many times that nala is stronger than him and better at fighting. Another weakness he is not super smart like nala made a plan to sneak away from the bird to go to the elephant graveyard but he took her idea and acted like it was his. 4. In what way is Scar related to Mufusa? Scar is mufasa's brother but they don’t treat each other like brothers. Scar is jealous that mufasa is king so he tries to kill mufasa. Do you agree or disagree with this statement: You have two options you can run away and stay hurt from you past or you can learn from it and overcome your past? Yes I very much agree with this you either run away from your past or you can learn from it and overcome it. What is the main idea of Lion King? Is you got to learn from your mistakes and everything is not as it seems. So something might be against you even tho they seem like they are trying to help you.
how are simba and mufasa the same? Anderson
Mufasa and Scar are alike in very few ways because they were king at one time and they both want to rule the kingdom. Both Mufasa and Scar want to rule the kingdom but they rule it in very different ways. Scar is very selfish because even though he wants to help the kingdom he wants it to be in a way that benefits him more than the others. The main idea of the lion king is to teach all the kids that watch this movie to be strong in whatever situation might happen in your life. Simba was so sad when he lost his dad and he had to face his uncle and the hyenas and then he had to move out of his kingdom. After he moved out of his kingdom he had to face life by himself until he found Timon and Pumba. The strengths of Simba is that he used to be a really hard risk-taker and go to the places that put him in danger. He was really strong even when he was very little he always wanted to go out with his father when his dad goes out to save his home town and also the people that live in there. The weakness of Simba is that he decided to forget his past and also his families then he decided to be careless about what is going to happen in the future life. The lion king is related to real-life because there are people that are so selfish like Scar. In the movie, scar wanted to take the throne of his brother by killing him and destroying all his family roots so no one takes the throne but him. Pumba and Timon were loyal to Simba and when Nala came and told Simba to go back to his homeland because everything was destroying. In there land their god was not happy by scar ruling their kingdom so there was no rain and because the land was very dry there was a lot of fire that destroyed all the plants there was in the kingdom. The reason why I think the rain stops in Scar's kingdom is that God was not happy with how Scar was ruling the kingdom he was basically doing all the things that would benefit him and the hyena's. Scar was also an evil that tried to kill all the lion's kingdom and give the hyena's all the kingdom enough food and water but since the god was not happy with scar everything was completely destroyed.
Meinert 2. What is the main idea of the lion king? The main idea is that it revolves around the circle of life and how animals die and are reborn to kill other animals for food. 3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Simba? Simba has some weaknesses like not being as strong but he learns how to improve their weaknesses by being around Nala. 5. Compare Simba and Nala with regard to them being related. We don’t know if Simba and Nala are related they could’ve been but we aren't sure. 6. What do you think causes Simba to go back to the pride land rock? I think he went back to save his kingdom and the other lions from scar and the hyenas. He also wanted to be king and rule the world with Nala and get things where they should be. The best is the first lion king because it tells a story about how Simba was born to be king and how he grew up in a way to be responsible enough to be king of the world. 9. What are some possible solutions to the problem of Scar? The problems that he has is that when he brought the hyenas into pride rock they kill all of the other animals there was no water and pride rock turned into the elephant graveyard. I think that scar had a hard time when he was growing up with Mufasa because Mufasa was a lot stronger and thinks beyond his family and supports the other animals as king. Scar, on the other hand, I think he was abused and not treated like Mufasa. Scar is like a businessman because he precedes Simba to do things that could get him killed. I think that Simba will be a great king with Nala's help they do have a daughter and Simba will be able to show her the way through the circle of life. They made a second movie over Simba and Nala's daughter.
The main idea of this movie is how Simba is the true heir of the kingdom. In movies Nala was telling how Simba was the king and he is more than how he is acting. His dad was telling him to remember who he was when he was with Rafiki. And other main idea of the movies is showing how lion are on top of the food chain showing they can not be eaten but the could eat How are Simba and Mufasa are the same they both the same because they are both lion they both want to protect their people they proved it by how they fought the hyena. They both took their birthright by being kings of the lions. Simba strength and weaknesses his weakness is that he is selfish and how he was power hungry his another weakness he has is when Nala These are some of his weaknesses. His strength, though, is his love for his pride, father, and willingness to change his ways and take responsibility. every time they met Nala would put him to the ground meaning she is stronger than Simba. Simba show strength by how he took down his uncle scare down and how he beat up the hyena Wh do you think is the cause of the story i think that because of the story is how mufasa died and everything have change cause scar became king he brought the hyena to the pride and they eat everything there so there were no food and god did not like how scar was king so the pride place did not .What do you think causes Scar is terribly selfish and has such hatred for Mufassa. The reason I think this is because I think scar as a kid he was beat and treaty bad by his parent except for mufasa i feel like mufasa was more favorite by his parent by scar or maybe cause scar look different than how the other lion look. I feel like Mufassa was the best king because he had all the animals together when his child was born around him even though he a lion they should be afraid of him but the animals are not. I would say simba is a good king but we really did not see him lead or how he rules. What are the strength of scar and weakness of him scar has a strength by being the smart lion he is always kinda a head and always looking at the big picture his weakness is not have strength and he is weak against the other lions
3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of _Simba____________? One of Simba’s strengths is he has overall power and strength to fight. One of Simba’s weaknesses is he lets the past dwell over him for a long time and lets it impact him too much.
2. What is the main idea of _the story____________? The main idea of the story is that Simba is supposed to be the future king but Scar made that very difficult when he used guilt against Simba to drive him away from his home so then everyone would think Simba is dead when he really he isn’t and Scar is the so-called king when he isn’t at all. So this movie is about how Simba will overcome the obstacles that are in his way that were set there intentionally so then he wouldn’t have anyone to help him.
4. In what way is __Mufasa related to _Scar? The way that Mufasa and Scar are related is that they came from the same family but had different parents and they are brothers they were just raised by different people and Scar had a really bad childhood it seems like he was abused physically and mentally. Mufasa’s childhood was good was because his father taught him how to fight and protect what is yours, fight for what you believe he was given the confidence, strength, loyalty, trustworthy.
9. What are some possible solutions for the problem of _the life cycle? One of the solutions to the circle of life problem is the lions need the rain for water and for prey but the prey needs more food than just grass maybe if they had plants and herbs there would be more resources for the prey then just grass. If the lions can’t get it to rain then maybe have more lakes/ponds.
6. What do you think causes __the fire/volcano to start at the end? I think one reason why this was caused is because of Scar being king when he shouldn’t have been. It’s almost like when Scar became king he opened the gates of fire and tried to make two animals that are opposite of each other to work with each other but it would never work. Scar couldn’t keep his promise about food to the hyenas and when that started to happen more the kingdom started to fell apart.
7. How does _lion king tie in with what we have learned before? Lion king ties into what we are learning because if we look back in history we can learn that America wasn’t close to perfect and it still isn’t today. If we look in our economy we can see that America has sexism in it because men get paid more then women even if they both have the same amount of experience and education men will still get paid more.

The main idea about this film is to show how the characters change over time and how they look up to their parents just how Simba and did to his dad when he died.

How are simba and mufasa the same?

Select six of the stem questions on the right side of this blog, fill in the blanks and answer the questions.

What do you think causes scar to be against Simba and Mufasa?

And other main idea of the movies is showing how lion are on top of the food chain showing they can not be eaten but the could eat
How are Simba and Mufasa are the same they both the same because they are both lion they both want to protect their people they proved it by how they fought the hyena.
Simba show strength by how he took down his uncle scare down and how he beat up the hyena
Wh do you think is the cause of the story i think that because of the story is how mufasa died and everything have change cause scar became king he brought the hyena to the pride and they eat everything there so there were no food and god did not like how scar was king so the pride place did not
.What do you think causes Scar is terribly selfish and has such hatred for Mufassa.
