I think that this prezi was very good at explaining what was going on. I think that it showed the good and bad in the movie. I'm happy that it explains what the meanings of the words are and what the definitions of some of the words are or would mean in the movie. I think its kind of cool that the only character to not receive an african american name was scar. I think that is very interesting because I think being different from others or everyone else is an important thing to achieve in life. Why did she not get an african american name though? This world is very judgemental because people go off the color I think that is the wrong thing to do in life. Like oh he’s dark he must be dumb I think everyone is the same and we are all different but we should accept who they are and not sit there and judge them. I'm very surprised that the lion king trains Americans because that is something I would not expect from a movie. I think that this is a child movie and it is a very good movie and defeinly is worth going over in class. I learned a few new things in this prezil. For example, some are the vocab words this prezi did a very good job at explaining it and what those words mean.

Explain the prezi.
I think the prezi is very Interesting. Because it shows the movie from a different point of view.
Most people look at the movie just as a little kids movie but some people like to look closer and make conspiracies about it. Like example you can look at a movie as a communism move because some stuff has pointed towards that but that could just me a random accident. You also you could look at it that they are making it look like school like the outsiders or quiet kids or different kids are and the popular/normal kids are good thats another thing that they are making the movie look like its comparing too. Another statement says that scar should be king because he is smarter but mufasa is stronger and we don't arm wrestle to get the best grades is very interesting. It also shows that with hyenas the people who made this movie could be racist because one of them is a black woman for the voice another one is a hispanic man and the next is a crazy coco one and it shows how society treats people with mental illness and color. The hyenas seem like they represent people who are not privilege in the day in modern age. Also simba wins genetic lottery and is anointed by birth. But a little push back to the racist conspiracy is that mufusa’s voice actor is black but kinda like obama many people say he sounds white.

In this Prezi, it talks about analyzing The Lion King. The Prezi talks about is you use the three critical lenses that it will improve your critical thinking and analytical reading skills. It says the skills help you the most in college and career. It talks about how there is the Marxist critical theory. The Marxist theory talks about how money functions in the movie. How the power is in the movie. It shows what characters are trying to climb the social ladder. It shows what obstacles are in the way of things. And how is the lifestyle affecting the characters? The money in the lion king is the food, water, pride rock, females, respect, power and status that the lions hold in the movie and who is counted as “king”. Power is like how the genetic lottery took place in the rankings and the power with the lions and other characters. It says that looks and appearance is one that controls ranking. Intelligence is another that controls who does what. And body and what the body looks like has a part in who rules, who is stronger looking and who can do what as of certain things. The environment shows what is good or bad for the characters. One environmental thing is a place, like where they were born and the location. Another thing for the environment is family and who was born into what and who was king or queen at the time that they were born. The last thing for the environment is the wealth or poverty to the character that was born and what ranking the parents were and the status that they hold and what the character was supposed to be later in life. The Prezi talked about scar and how he lost is rankings like the family, the strong body so he did not become king. It also talks about what life lottery things mufasa won. He won family, body, ranking, environment. It talks about how the movie is alike communism and how that works and fails.

I think this Prezi represents the lion king because it talks about how the lion king show power and strength in this movie and then this also shows the characters go through their obstacles and how they overcome them and learn how to fight back. Also in this Prezi is that the movie has had environmental where it takes place and also it shows how who is in what family and who has more wealth in the family and that has power and strength. Then this also shows how the outsiders are bad and the insiders are good. The lion king does show how world Disney movies are making children's minds immeasurable power to their own priorities. Then this is also making them think more power you get more money. The Lion King shows how the hyena has power and they all show different religions like shezi shows the most power and banzai is her sidekick which she shows the Hispanic people and then ed is the other sidekick and he is the crazy one. The hyenas show the circle of life on how the people are banished in the population of the U.S. and how the circle of life is on how capitalism does. The Prezi also shows how the moon in the dark shows the communism symbol when the scar is at the top of pride rock and when it turns dark and behind him turns dark and the moon lights up into that symbol and showing the hyenas are Hitler. Finally, I think this Prezi shows a good example of how the lion king shows all those examples throughout the movie.

The lotterys that scar won was the brains of the family and the lottery that mufasa won was the brons of the family but they both had there down fallas literally. They both won the lottery in being lions just one wanted more. No we shouldn’t arm resol to see who get the best grade. What they ask is what did they hyghinas do wrong other than be born they didnt do anything wrong. Now they are trying to bring in religion to say that the gods don't like the hyghinas sens the sun never shines on them. They say lions have been chosen and ask why do lions get to be rich? Because they wanted it that way and chose the hyenas as the poor. To be honist this guy talks a lot and has a lot to type but that might just be me but it was way to mutch to proses at once so i only skimmed though it. But so fair all i got from it was all that we talked about is the same as what this guy said. Mr.c even said some of the same things as this guy. But ya it might have been a little more effective he didn't shove all of it in are face at once and took it some time. But that is my own opinion. He also talks about how nalo should be king i would agree with that but not going to happen the movie is made and it is put into are heads.

This gives us a perspective about the Lion King how, where and when the movie of The Lion King is racing, religious or is sending a message of capitalism. The stereotype plays a role in this movie is how people see other races as bad or dum like the hyenas. The one Latino and the black woman and crazy guy they all are not white people obviously so white people see them as dumb people and that really happens in real life. We haven’t born believing that society or even our parents have taught us that. The environment that we grow up in is that one that makes us think differently because and a person that has been born in a rich family has different thoughts than a person that has life and born in a poor laberhood and in a poor family. They both going to see races differently but my point is that I want to get to is that no one has chosen the family or the environment that they were born in. There is going to be racism in movies and real-life that is part of the life circle and that won’t change but that does not mean that we can’t start to make some little things that can make big changes. About the communist thing that shows in the Lion King movie I that is based and relatives with what is happening to currently. In my opinion, it is good that they send messages like this so give us something to think there are a lot of movies that are based on what is happening in the world currently and some just add a little messages to the audios.

I think this Prezi is a good idea for teens in high school and young adults going to college because it will expand your knowledge and get you to ask more questions and learn better, faster. When it explains what the word means that you can understand it more and get more in-depth with it so then you can learn how to put it in the right sentences and for you to start using more unique words, bigger words than what you would normally say. What I also find interesting is that the slideshow is showing us the people who came up with theories and then became famous for their knowledge in this world and the definitions are not short answers they are in-depth answers which is always better in the long run. I like how they tell us how their theories find a way into the lion king and tell us how they are connected, I also like that they tell us the actors who play in it and we see how they are portrayed in the movie and how at first we like this movie but then you watch it over again when your older and you see that it has a lot of unethical things that are wrong like sexism, racism. Why can’t Nala be king because she is a girl and not a boy that is where we see the sexism, why can’t the hyenas be higher on the food chain because they are portrayed as outsiders and the actors that play them are African American and in our society’s history African American are considered lower than whites. The hyenas are being portrayed as African Americans in the movie who are not that high in our society’s history and it's wrong.

I loved it I love looking at movies I thought about the nazi and communistic or Marxist theory I've thought of it for a while and me can see the contrasts between it and or how the lions hold themselves above all others like humans do because we're on top of the food chain and it shows in the movie on for how we outcast people from society in our eyes and would rather throw people in a worse place instead of trying to help people and a lot of the sexism for the female lions go out and get the males food there lazy and seem to take it for granite. The Oedipus complex is something I wanna dedicate a chunk of this too I was thinking about it for the movie and it's a secret thing they've all had like Simba wants Mufasa to die so he can be king and secretly wishes for him to be dead even though he doesn't look past it he can't wait and the narcissism with Simba as he abandons his kingdom to live a blissful life is something I don't agree with I believe in the equality of people and races or gender I might have some prejudice's but it won't change my thoughts about it but this movie is the perfect representation of how society is outcasting races, sexes, Class it's quite sad for we still do this today everywhere we go we have the slums somewhere in a town like people in a trailer park or in an apartment we see them below everyone else.

I like this Prezi because it does a good job of explaining both sides of the story. I also like how it explains words that some people might not be able to understand. It talks about the genetic lottery and how some people are born zebras and are hunted and some are born lions and eat the prey but they aren’t hunted, they have Hakuna Matata. I also like how it uses events in our lives to help us better understand what they are talking about in the Lion King. I like how we are studying a child’s movie in high school, this interest I because there is so much in this movie that most people won’t ever see or understand. It makes me curious to see how all the other movies are and if there are meanings like there are in the Lion King. The Lion King uses a lot of race in this movie and it is kinda obvious if you think about it. The hyenas are all different races and Scar is black, all these characters are “powerless”. All of the main lions such as Simba and Mufasa are white and they have all the power. It also shows in the movie that the hyenas are marching information such as the Nazis did for Hitler, In this case, scar is Hitler. It is also a very feminist movie and it shows because in the film Nala is way smarter and stronger than Simba but Simba is still crowed, king.

This Prezi is really good for explaining what the lion king is about. I like how the Prezi is laid out and I like the organization of it. Some of the pictures also help explain what the lion king is about. I think Scar won the fact that he could show what he is like and he loses the throne to the kingdom and the lions know what he is really like. I like how it explains both sides of the story meaning the Bad and good sides of the story. I like how their is different sections of the Prezi that explain the different things about the movie the Lion King. I like how it compares different things with the movie like Scar and Simba. I like how the Prezi has messages and I like how the messages can explain different things about the movie. Some of the quotes also help us understand the story better. I like how the Prezi explains the movie so that we know what it is more about. I like how in some of the pictures it describes what the character is like. I see that the movie teaches us lessons. I see that the Prezi also shows some of the people who act in the lion king. I see how the Prezi explains what the chosen ones are and what Rafiki is and how he is connected. I show that lions have been chosen and that Pride rock is a symbol of masculine power.

I think that those slide shows are really good because they explain everything in the movie. They explain who are the bad animal and who are the good animals. They even show real life events that happen in the real life world like the Nazis March . The Prezi slideshow gave examples of what is important to the lions. When I was a kid I did not really understand much of what was going on in the movies, but now that I am older I now understand the meaning of The Lion King movies. I think that the hyena are people who l are not accepted because the lion had ban them from the pride and they would compete with each other for food. It the same in the human world because of the homeless and the poor. One group has everything and the others don’t. Another thing I see in the movies is sexism because why do the pride only need king.I think Nala should be queen because I of her braveness and wisdom, but I think these things don't count because she is a female lion. In the movies this show what the lions think or know what important food water and pride rock. In the movies when simba was born all the animal who were prey to the lion came out to see simba and i think that the other animal have respect to the lion even thought they would get eaten by them.

So the Prezi, I think it is about the dark side v.s. The light side of the Americans versus the Germans/Hitler. It is like the Americans because of all of the good things that are happening and that the king is keeping the grounds like normal. It is like the Germans because Scar represents Hitler for being a dictator and the leader of the hyenas, He is smart and is undercover on the good side to tell Mufasa's boy to do some things that are bad like how scar told him to go to the elephant graveyard or when to go into the canyon and get trampled over by the wildebeest. The Hyenas are representing the german soldiers because they are saluting to Hitler oh wait I mean Scar. When Scar kills Mufasa he becomes king and brings in all of the hyenas who kill off all the animals and there is no water and nothing more to eat or kill. Nala then goes out to find help and stumble upon another lion and the lion is Simba. Simba thinks he killed his dad but he didn't so he won't go back to the pride rock and be king and take down the scar. Scar wanted to kill Simba but he didn’t, he just told him that he needs to run away and never return so that Scar could tell the lie of Mufasa's and Simba are dead. The hyenas ended up attacking scar because scare thought that they were worthless and didn’t know anything.

I like this Prezi website because it has very good detail about the lion king and what happens in the video in detail. This detail helps students understand the concept of the lion king and the influence that it has on people's lives. This helps students get their level of reading up. This site also says that using critical lenses will improve your critical thinking and analytical reading skills that would help you mostly in college and in your career. The Marxist Approach: "Money" in The Lion King provides food, water, and shelter like the pride rock, land, and also the travelers were females. This shows how this movie is dependent on race and also same gender because in the movie it shows how Nala wins over Simba when they were fighting as a child and also when she found him in the forest when he was with Timon and Pumba. In the hyenas there were certain hyenas that were strong could fight more than the others. Basically. what I understand from this movie and also the Prezi website is that it was mostly dependent on gender and also shows how one certain gender can do more than the others. The hyenas in the video have a black woman and a Hispanic man voices. The hyenas represent outsiders who can not gain access to the prosperous world of white people. Simba rejects his superego and satisfies his id by abandoning all responsibilities to exist pleasure fully with Timon and Pumbaa.

I like the Prezi, It uses a new way of spreading the information around in a really clean way. One thing I got from the Prezi was they really showed the whole good vs evil scenario and expressed who was on each side. One of them was the US vs Hitler, this was a very big difference but still did the job for showing what they were explaining to the readers. Which transitions into the Lion King, with this story obviously showing who is the bad guy being Scar and who is the good guy being Mufasa and Simba. Throughout the movie, it shows that Scar has like a grudge against Mufasa and without hesitation, he decided to kill him and take the throne. This was a big turning point in the movie which basically sent the whole scene into confusion when Simba ran away, people at this point were very confused what just happened and wondered what would happen next, eventually, Simba grew up and came back to fight for his family and his homeland. The final fight scene shows that Simba will be a good king due to the fact of how he handled the situation and told Scar to leave and never come back.
