I think the section on page 150 was different because he kinda had like a whole imagination on what the tiger was doing. For an instant he was talking about how the tiger's mouth was crunching and it sounded like he was chewing. Also about when he said “ his eyes glazed when widing open” you can definitely tell that ether he was thinking of the photograph as a tiger so he could have them capture fear in the photo. Like he was running away from it or something. Or he was actually there and saw a tiger. Later going onto page 151 top section was where he was talking about how the tiger was eating and liking his chops afterwards. If he wasn’t an actual physical tiger in this it would have definitely showed evidence because the way he describes things and says how he’s doing it. When he could have in reality been eating and imagining himself as a tiger.

The story, Life Of Pi is an amazing story with so many different types of outcomes that you would have never thought of, but when it comes to Richard Parker, that's where it gets interesting, especially when there was never a tiger on the boat. When I found this out, I was very much in ah, I really thought that there was a tiger but now that I think about it, most of the story makes sense with the layout. So in the book, we have to find what would have been different in the book if there was no tiger, and the part that I think about the most is when Pi saves Richard Parker from drowning when the ship sinks. In reality, it was Pi saving himself and from the tiger within him being so strong and brave, the book explains that he could see the fear in Richard Parker's eyes, meaning that for the first time Pi was truly trying to survive and was scared out of his mind.

Webb, Parker
Chapter 53 is the starting of him realize that the "Tiger in him" was there and making his way out as he remembered all the good times his mom, dad, brother, and India were still in reach for him and before the tiger would've come out as it starts to show up in with the completely different style of thinking for his survival and is taking over as he's afraid to die on that boat and has the will to live and the "Tiger" is what helps him his own inner self away he pushes past this rough time making his equipment to stay afloat away from the boat was because I believe the bodies were in the lions den and he didn't want to see them as everything that would be different in here would be the whole mood of it would be from tense to morbid, shaking the people who read it and to know what this person has done.

Find a section that would be different if Richard Parker were not an actual, physical tiger. Type about that for one hundred and fifty or more words.

The section in the book that I have chosen is on page one hundred and fifty-one. In the part I chose is when Richard Parker had just killed the hyena and he let it go and was growling. That part of the book would be different if Richard Parker wasn't an actual tiger because then it would be Pi killing a person and he was the one that was making the growling noises and there wouldn't be any animals it would be just people. Another thing that would be different with that part is how the hyena was killed because in the book it is a tiger killing it so that has its own way of killing another animal but if the tiger was Pi there would be a different method of killing the other person and Pi could not have crunched through the bones if he was a human. The part of the book would also be different on how the tiger acted after it was finished killing the hyena if it was Pi I don't think he would have acted like that. And in the book with the tiger is said that the tiger had looked at Pi but if Pi was actually the tiger and there is no tiger he can't really look at himself.

He had to make sure his wild side didn't come out all the time so he had to tread carefully. basically say that he has to stay quiet and not let richard parker know that he is there. Even though he was blined and could barely hear anything. Then also when richerd parker kills the hyena that could be him killing the chef. And the hyena also known as the chef killed the hindo or zebra. Then the iland could be a dead corps and he ate some and ate stuff that got attracted to dead corpses so could have used it for fishing instead of asiced water it is him fishing with the fleas and that is the fish he chases. And the some of the iland he ate was just some of the human he ate until he got his sanity back enough to think straight and make his supplies last longer.

The that I am going to pick is on chapter 30 when it says life has taught him not to show off what is most precious to him. What this means is that is telling him that you don’t need to show off your life for it to be meaningful or precious to someone. Also what this means is that on how the tiger shows off his life by being strong and protective of something or something and show people who are boss. Then life has taught him to just do his own thing in life and he will get through it unlike the tiger because the tiger has to show off his skills so he can eat unlike the person because we just have to work for things we need and not show off like what they animals have to do to stand there ground. Next also how we don’t have to show off what we have like the tiger has to do and give it to his family or friends.

In chapter 53 on page 156, it talks about Pi expecting Richard Parker to burst forth from the boat, sailing through the air and teeth and claws reaching for me. And the part where it said his claws tensed. This part of the story would have been different because if there is no actual tiger then Pi is being afraid of himself because he is the tiger. Pi would be watching and keeping an eye on himself and being scared and trying to stay away from himself and not the tiger. He would be trying to stay away from the tiger that is in him and not in him. If there is really no tiger then Pi is having his claws like his fingers tensed and not Richard Parker’s. That means Pi is trying to say away from himself, the tiger that is in him. This also means that he is clawing at himself and his own teeth are reaching for himself not the tiger's teeth and claws.

In chapter 57 Richard paker had killed the hyena and ate him whole and drain the who rainwater if there was no tiger then this would me that pie have eat the cooked meaning that he ate another human being in chapter 92 their was another man who was on a lifeboat who was trying to survive he found pi lifeboat but pie was blinded and he was blinded too they both had a conversation about if any of them had food but none of them had food so the temp the man to kill pie so he could eat him but Richard paker help pie by eating the other man meaning that he saved pie. If Richard paker was not there and the tiger was supposed to be pie then how did pie killed the man how was he able to get off the man chokehold able to kill the man.

What if Richard Parker was not a physical tiger? On-Page 157 chapter 54 Pi is thinking to himself on how he could kill Richard Parker. He comes up with 6 different methods he could kill him, but what if Richard Parker isn’t a real tiger? Pi is really thinking of ways he could either kill himself or kill the tiger inside of him. He comes up with six ways of basically suicide. Some of the ways are hanging the tiger or killing it with morphine shots and drown the tiger. But the question still continues is there a tiger on the boat or not so is really just thinking of ways to kill himself or the tiger or the tiger within Pi. In my opinion, I think that Pi is Richard Parker so he is thinking of ways to kill himself so he doesn’t have to be on the lifeboat anymore.

When the ship sank and Pi was trying to escape to the lifeboat it fell into the water and someone was on the lifeboat and they had the whistle trying to get Pi to go into the right direction towards the lifeboat and the person in the boat yelled at Pi that he is a strong swimmer and that he looked small and helpless. Pi also looked like he was struggling swimming to the boat because he has never been out in the ocean before especially in a storm like the one they were in Pi was panic-stricken. When Pi was swimming in the ocean he looked like he was having a hard time to stay about the water because he never been anywhere that deep before and he was afraid of dying and he is sad because he knows that his family drowned. This is what I think would have been different without Richard parker.

One part of the story in the book that would be different if Richard Parker did not exist is when he turns blind and finds someone else lost at sea. In the book, Pi says how Richard Parker killed the man. But if Richard Parker was not a tiger then that would mean that Pi killed the man. This would also mean that Pi ate the man too before using him as bait. Pi is a vegetarian so he does not want to believe that he killed and ate someone so he says that Richard Parker the tiger did all that. But in reality, the tiger does not exist and in fact, Richard Parker is inside him so that means Pi did everything he claims Richard Parker did. Like eating the muskrats or maggots whatever happened, Also that would mean that Pi killed the Cook as he was attacking his mom.

Chapter 41 when he talks about “Richard Parker kept out of sight” so when he is looking around him and see the sharks round he forgets about Richard Parker is in him and he just lost him in the moment because he was afraid of the sharks and what would happen if the lifeboat sank. There was no situation that he can take Richard Parker to take over him because he was worried about the sharks because sharks can eat him if in any circumstance the boat sinks for some reason and his thoughts keep him with Richard Parker out most of the time when he needs too, but now in this situation, he is more scared of sharks than his thought of being a tiger. The tiger is necessary to fight against something that he really needs to, in this case, Richard Parker had nothing to do there because he couldn’t help him of not being scared of the sharks.

Chapter 53 started off by Pi remember his family, his mom, dad, and his brother. He also remembered that he had gone to a Christian church with his family. For Pi to be afraid he is going to act differently like going crazy and going mad at things that he is talking to himself and thinks that he is talking to an animal. This page represents going to church and learning different religions and going to the churches with his family. He is comparing things like a kneecap to a red fire engine.he was learning from the priest in the Christian church about the torture scenes. On page 54 it states that there is a devil and I think that Pi is going to end up with the devil inside of him because he will turn against himself and someone or something else coming his way in the near future.

Chapter 57

This chapter talks about how Richard Parker is not an actual tiger and it is a feeling. It is just his thoughts that calmed him down not actually a tiger because Richard parker is not a tiger. It shows or tells how one person's attitude toward something can change on what they have experienced in their lifetime or in other things.

He also talks about how the tiger ate all the hyenas and drank all the water that was left in the container. I think this explains how people can do something that is unexpected when they are in a situation between life and death. .First on the book or even in the movie I thought there was a tiger until I fully understand it but actually there isn't actually a tiger is in him, also this tells the evil part of him that could only be seen in a situation like that.
