With the remaining time that I have to spend at the Brandon valley high school, there are many things that I am able to gain and things I can gain if I work hard. In the remaining time, I have in high school there are many skills, traits, and experiences that I can gain too. Some skills that I can gain from my remaining time in high school are that I can gain a hard mindset and learn to work harder and better to better myself for the future. By learning to work harder it will help me get all perfect grades and help me for college to work hard and achieve the same grades or better grades in college. Working hard will also help me find a job or a career in my future because people want other people to work hard and be a hard-working if they are going to hire them. Some traits that I am able to gain is to be good at time management and not procrastinate and do everything right away so I can learn more in the days that I would be procrastinating to further my knowledge. Some Experiences in the school and what I can learn for the rest of the time is to work with more people and learn how to work together and work with different types of people so it will help me in the future working so I know how to help all types of people. Some of the courses that I have to take or am taking to get credits won't all help me in the long run or help me get ready for college and the career that I want to go for. Not all classes will for anyone but just because those classes won't help you for your career but you never know because plans can change and you can decide you don't want to do what you planned on and you might choose something completely different so the classes can help you with that but if you took classes all for that one career you wanted you to have to go to school for longer to learn the information you need.

What can I benefit from my remaining time at BVHS? I think think that with my remaining time here I can get a better understanding of what I want to do with my future. I can talk to my counselors and see what are my options for college or if I want to go to college. I can also grow closer with friends and maybe do something with them when I’m older or even just stay in touch. This remaining time is a very important time because we have to decide what we are going to do with the rest of our lives and that can be stressful. When I’m older I want to become a Marine Biologist, currently, I am not taking any classes that could really benefit my career of that which is ok because I am learning other things if that doesn’t work out. I think that I have learned a lot of skills by going to this school, such as how to act in a classroom how to communicate with people and what I want to do when I’m older. One thing I really like about this school is how much they focus on every individual student. Some other things that I have learned here are shop classes such as welding, woodworking, and small engines which are very valuable skills to have in everyday life. I feel this school compared to other schools you can apply the stuff that you have learned instead of it all just going to waste. The favorite classes that I have taken here are definitely the shop classes because I am a hands-on person so when I can learn with my hands it doesn’t feel like I’m in school just sitting there bored out of my mind. This is what i have gained from going to school at Brandon Valley High School.

I hope to gain the knowledge of how to do better in interviews. Some others are friend ships that will last a long time after highschool. But that one is unlikely. Next one is to get enough knowledge to get thought college. But other then those i don't know what else i want to gain. It was a fun school year and i think i have learned things that aren't going to be relevant to my future. But still they where fun things to do in the class. There wasn’t much else i could want to gain from all this. Other then to go onto the next step and live my life the way i wanted to. The skills i learned from here is some wood working skills made a small foot rest table. Also welding made a night on the chess bord. Also music i know some of the keys on the piano now. Art helped me with some shading but not really anything i didn’t know already. I learned about how there is three different types of people and even if people see you as one of the three you could be the other. Also doing taxes was fun i guess i think i know how to do that now also investing that was fun to. I’v become a better spell from over the years. That was okay. And also that almost every thing in a movie has a hidden meaning i’v if you don't think so it does no ifs ,ands ,or buts. The only people that can disprove this is the people that made the movie but what is the chance you will get in contact with them. Doing math is easier now becuase i’v taken so many classes of it and it is really starting to get annoying. There will always be hidden meanings to every thing no mater what. Another skill is that now i can none stop crack my right knuckle that is proble not a good thing but it is one of the skill i have now. None of my gaming skills came in hand when i played the mario cart tournament so I don't think my gaming skills went up at all.

So some of my gains from this school are that they are in all different kinds of ways some or not related to my future and some are and some are just for fun like classes. Some classes are used for my future and career that I want to go into like English, math, science, the basic ones that you need for high school are what you need for the basics of college and what career you are going into. Cause I know that the first year of college is like the basic classes that you need like speech, math, science it is like you are repeating another year of high school but after that it goes into your career. Some skills that I learned from here are that to be respectful, kind, responsible and dependable. Another skill that I learned from being here through four years is that you need to remember things like your passwords, when to turn things in and your combos for your locker if you use it. Another big thing from being here is that you will not always be a class with your friends you need to learn how to make new friends and talk to new people. Some experiences that I have learned is that to be dependable for yourself. Experiences made here were fun but never forgotten when to take semester tests to be here all day and every day to not being able to take semester tests to have open periods to not coming to school till later to be able to go home early. Another thing that I have learned is that you need to be hardworking and do the best you can to the best of your abilities because in the future you are going to have to ask for help and instead of it just being there for you and people like to hire hardworking people and not lazy people to get things done.

With very limited time left in my high school career, I have already planned to take PT which I am in with Chad and he will be teaching me the ground basics of PT, this will overall help me get a better understanding of what I plan on going into and what to expect for the years to come. I am also a job shadowing a PT at Sanford, and she has been teaching and showing me all the amazing things that I will be doing if I work at Sanford. It is truly incredible. BVHS is preparing me well for college, but I don't know for sure if its well enough since mostly all of the people I have talked to who are in college currently said, “Highschool teaches you a lot, but they leave all the stuff that you actually need to know for real life, and also how to use time management”. Not going to lie, when I heard this, it frightened me a little, but since I found that out I have been trying to get my time management down, so ill be ready for college.
For Personal Finance, we talked about doing taxes and payment, but it was so limited time that we dealt with taxes for 3 days and moved onto the next subject. It would have been nice to have an extra class that can provide this type of stuff.
Like-
Taxes
Payments
Loans
Time management
How to reduce stress
With these more students would be able to know what is coming and how to do them on their own other than me over here looking it up on youtube to figure stuff out cause all I could worry about is how to figure out the percentage of something in PF for a test.
And other than teaching us about how to reduce stress than having to test on it, which will make us more stressed(Fit for Life), just don't test us with those certain things. Mainly due to the fact that from all the ways she told us how to coup, I remembered one, since it actually helped me out. Which made it harder to remember the other ones since they did not work.

I think that with my time left here I can gain quite a few things. For example I am in this class called street law and I personally think that it will help me in my near future because I want to learn more about laws and crimes. I also always wanted to see what a jail looked like but I don’t ever want to be admitted there. I have always wanted to be a lawyer or someone who works with the law maybe like a cop but I have never known anything about them. The reason why I want to be a cop is to help others and prove to people that cops are not bad people. I want to be able to help the environment and things like family situations.

Another class I am taking this year that would help me gain a little is Life Management. This class is more like a class where you talk about your feelings in and it helps you get through your days. And how to control your emotions and work through them. This class can mainly help me in the future because there are sometimes when life can get really hard and you feel alone. Especially when you go to college and your moving away from home those emotions normally start to come out and it’s important that you know how to control them and take care of them.

Some experiences I have had at bvhs is this one quote in a teacher's classroom was hanging on a wall and I was currently going through a hard time it sorta inspired me. No matter what at bvhs I have learned that sometimes you just need to take a break and put your life aside for a bit and come back to it later. And no matter what happens you always have someone to talk too and don’t try to always hold it in because it would make it worse. One teacher told me “ in order to help you I need to know what is going on” and that made me realize a life learning lesson you need to be open with others.

Some things I can gain from BVHS is skills like Confidence, Bravery, encouragement, strength, knowledge, hardworking, and responsibility. Some of the traits/skills that I have gotten and have from over the years as a high school student is responsibility, effort, hardworking, being confident, always trying and never giving up, being strong, standing up for myself, always being honest with myself, encouraging myself and others, and always helping others when they need help. I have had a lot of good and amazing experiences with friends and other people over the years as a high school student. Some of the courses I have taken over the years have helped me better understand certain things that are important to know in lifelike things of science, math, reading, government, history, and geography. I want to be a photographer and I took a Photography course the first semester of senior year and it has helped me a lot on better understand what photography is all about and all of the concepts you need to know to become and to be a photographer. I have learned a lot of things about photography that I didn’t even know about until I was in the class. The class has better prepared me for becoming a photographer and it has made me more confident with me going on to be a photographer. I learned about angles, different types of shots like low angle, high angle, and other kinds of shots. I have learned that there is so many different kinds of photographer that you could do like, fashion, food, action, portrait, sports, cinematography, fine art, landscape, and leading lines photography. Math has also helped me better understand how things can go together and it will help with prices of photos and other things that are math-related. I have gained a lot of things over the years of being in high school and all of these things I will use in my life when I leave BVHS and I will use them to help me go far in life and I will use them to help me get things done and accomplished in my life and I will use them to help me through life.

First of all, I think I can gain alot of things with the rest of my time at bvhs. For example I can gain a lot more experience with school if I do plan to go to college in the future. I am learning how to get assignments in on time and I am also learning how to do it well. Another thing that I will gain job skills. I am doing a job with a local business through the school and I get credit for doing it its my last 2 periods of the day. I still haven't got the job yet but I am working on it with a teacher and she is also helping me with interview and application skills. I feel like this can help me alot in the future when I go to apply for jobs and when I go and do interviews. I feel that this is a great program through the school because a job is very important in the future for anyone and I could use these skills alot in my future. Another thing that I think will benefit me in the future is the animal science class that I am taking. In this class we learn about all of the different traits of animals and we learn about a bunch of different dog breeds. We also learn about all of the things you need to do to take care of a pet like that. I think its amazing how many dog breeds there are and all the different stuff they can be used for weather that is a companion or a work dog. We also learn about livestock too and all the laws they have to protect animals. One other thing that I will learn and that I have been learning is independence and this is good because I am going to have to do things for myself in the future and I cant always rely on people. In conclusion I think I will gain a lot with my lasts months at bvhs and I feel like this is a great school.

What I am to expect to gain from BVHS are many things since learning a new language for me and until saving investment for my future. When I came here to the United States I didn’t know anything about English, I didn’t know how to speak, understand, write and read. That was 3 years ago I feel that since that moment when I put a step in this school things have changed so much that I can’t explain it. There were many moments in my times here that I felt pretty bad how my learning was going and Still is. When I came here I was 17 years old so I had to start school in freshman year just imagine being 17 and being a freshman. I didn’t have the Americans credits to graduate me so that was the reason why I started as a freshman with 17 years old. I always looked forward to my graduation, my family tells me that being in school would help me a lot to perform in my English and I knew that they were right, but they didn’t know how it feels like to be in high school with people that only speak English is hard to communicate in every way. The years have gone now and see me in 3 years how much I learn much more than when I just came here. I have taking classes that can help me in my adult life in my future as government class that can tell me my rights, personal finance that can give us an idea of how to apply for a job what to do and save money and invest money and why it is important. Speach also that class helped to speak in front of people and get used to it. I feel that since I take that class that helped me how to be more sure of myself and when I speak inform of other people. Value to appreciate people that are around me. I have been trying my best since I started school here doing my homework, paying attention and talk my concerns. I feel that this was a really good experience that my life really need and it was necesary to me as a normal person and as a student.

I would say some of the things I'll learn is I'll miss this school it taught me that with time as I continued to see more and more I would miss is the skills of cars I am in CTE right now and it'll help me in the long run for my favorite type of job which is body repairs on cars and I enjoy it much so as I would love to learn more and more about cars as I would love to do this for the rest of my life and another skill I'd like to learn is probably be better with punctuation as I rarely ever use it because my thoughts will flow on without a stop as I type. some traits I'd like to learn here are more than likely is to hold back my anger as I lose control of it quite easily and say things I'd never mean and I'd like that to be more self-controlling in the future for my anger and money control as I seem to spend more than I need and leave myself with barely any money left. An experience I can never explain that I loved for the first time was school Olympics minus the smell and heat in the gym it's a blast that I'd never expect to like again each year but came back and surprised me each time as I went back and enjoyed it so much. A trait I thought of I would like to improve upon is my Determination as I see to just to give up as I do something, homework, or work my determination to get everything done goes away for me and I don't know why as I am fixing it now but is one I hope will be gone by the end of this year for me I wanted to accomplish some self-control on myself and to help more people out in the long run as I would prefer to be here to help people out as I want to help this school to I encourage a class for students to help relieve stress of daily life or somewhere they can just go to and not worry about classes for 45 minutes or teach them way to fix it by different people or the counselors.

What skills, traits, experience I can gain from BVHS
More business knowledge/ with marketing: The reason why I want to learn more about marketing is that it will help me understand the process of everything and when I am ever talking about it I have some experience with it and know what I am talking about. It will also help me if I am ever in a business meeting and it is about marketing I will be able to have a voice on the subject because I would know what they are talking about.
I want to learn more history by watching famous movies that are based on true events and I get to see all of the different cultures of those time periods in those movies and how different they are, I also get to see how different history is portrayed in books and classes and then see what the movie changed from the real thing.
I want to get better at track and I want this year to be the year that I reach a milestone in track and become better at throwing the shot and discus, I want to continue the sport when I go to college if I can make it work with the schedule that I will get from the school.
I want to use the gym more frequently because track season is soon so I have to get ready for that and getting a head start on lifting so I can get more muscle for the season is never a bad thing, it will help me in the long run. It is better to be ahead rather than to be behind everyone or be thinking ahead of everyone. I also want to make more gains/ Pr’s and there not just for the weight room it is also for track and field, to make a Pr is one of the best feelings that you can get from in a sport and knowing that your team is supporting you and always looking out in case you are making a mistake in footing they can help you fix your footwork.

From my remaining time here at BVHS I have gained how to be independent on doing something that I wanted to accomplish in my life. The courses that I took because it might directly relate to my future is Choir. I liked these courses because I like to listen to music and I want to be something that is related to music in the future. The experiences that I thought wasn't really related to my future was art class and also a science because even though I like to see artistic figures and also I like to look at something that is scientific it doesn't really connect to me as my skill or experience to do it in the future. The good thing that I think about taking a different kind, of course, is that it helps you get an idea on what you want to study or learn about then it will help you to get into something that you will use for the rest of your life that is possible in the future. I also like to learn in the future about different kinds of skills and experiences. There has been classes that I took don't really connect with my future like Personal Finance.

I learned that there were more sports than I realized that there was bowling, now I have never bowled before Freshman year. My first year I learned how to curve my bowling ball and my coach gave me one of his bowling balls that is how I got my first ball. I was also on JV EXTRA.
Sophomore Year I jumped up to VARSITY and got two more bowling balls. My Junior year still varsity averaging around 200 pins a game. Senior year is the best year I am still varsity My high score is 264 with a 688 series that would include: 1st game 264, 2nd game 246, 3rd game 178. I am also the captain and leader of all of the boys and I have a big responsibility and show the new bowlers where to stand and what arrows to throw the ball at. I am determined to coach these kids next year as I will be stepping up as one of the coaches.

I have experience choir class. I have been in Mr. Gullixson's class for 7 years. I have been in his class all through middle school and now all through high school he is one of my favorite teachers that I have ever had no there are a few others but he is in my top 3. Now I am a base 2 in the choir, I sing way lower than all of the freshman and sophomore and juniors that are in my 3rd-period class.

I have also done track for a total of two years. I told my best friend that he should join track with me but he had said no and no and no again, but finally I made a decision of signing him up anyways. When I told him that I had signed him up and told the coach that he was going to join he was mad but now he has been on track for 3 years. I Have committed by helping him through a journey for helping him get away from the people that we're bringing him down by doing drugs and drinking alcohol.

With your time remaining here, what can you possibly gain from BVHS? Skills, traits, experiences. Some courses may relate directly to your future; others may not. All are designed to help you make gains. Write 350+ words in list or paragraph form. Right now I think just need to gain better learning skills for other subjects. I excel in math but other subjects I don’t do so well. I wish I would of done more CTE classes throughout the year to help me have more experiences and skills for College. So the skills I think I could learn is better time managing because rn I work almost every day so I don't have time for homework much of the time. I also think I need to get better at saving money and listen to others because right now I'm not ready for college. Then learning from my mistakes because that's what gets you far in life if you don't learn you will keep having those mistakes over and over. Then another skill I could work on or keep is memory because my memories not to great right now and how I could do that is from studying and writing down stuff so I get a time organization like when time is for homework and friends or freetime. Also skills like organization because right now I'm not organized at all my room my backpack nothing organized. I also think that my ethic needs to be better I got a good work ethnic at school I got employee of the month but at school I have a bad habit of doing the bare minimum and its not working well for me so I think I can get better I just have to change my mind set because I always say I am gonna change but then I forget and don't get it finished.

In the four years that I’ve been here at Brandon Vally High School, I have learned and gained a lot of skills. The first “fun” and hands-on skills I learned was my first year when I signed up for Woodworking. This was a big class for me and helped jumpstart my passion for building things and working with wood. This class tough me all the basics I need to know. How to use many different tools and use them safely. I would have never had the opportunity outside that class to get to use those types of tools and machines. Mr. Donalen taught me how to fasten wood together with different joints for different purposes. I enjoyed that class so much that I just had to learn more about woodworking, so the following year I signed up for Woodworking 2 the next year and expanded my knowledge about how to build certain things and tried new things like woodturning and making a bowl. This year is my senior year and took carpentry at CTE. That class has taught me more than I ever thought I would in school. In all my math, English, history classes I just do the work. You never really learn it but in this class I do and I enjoy it. I’ve learned a little bit of everything involving constructing a house from putting in floor trusses and making the foundation square. Reading and drafting blueprints and laying out and constructing walls. I hope to become a carpenter as my carer and this class has tough me more than I ever thought I would have learned inside a school environment during highschool.
