The system that they are using is a crappy system. The reason I say that is because they won’t let them do anything. They sit there and talk about one person's problems for a long time. Then one dude stood up to the lady and said that this is dumb that we can’t do anything like watching the world series for baseball. They make them do nothing all day so it seems like they are going crazy. McFadden (I think that is his name) sits right in front of the TV and starts talking about a game from the past that he watched before. To have a good system they need to do almost anything that they want with permission so that they don’t go even more crazy by doing nothing.
The point of the story in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and other movies is about the main character making a difference to everyone when the system is corrupt and broken. What the main character does is break the cruel rules, always find a way, and show the terrible people in the system that they’re wrong and everything else. Not only does the character do that he also helps other characters get through their lives, makes them more holy, and gives them better advice than the people who run the system. I have seen this in many movies and it has proved that they can do it, but sometimes it’s a 50/50. What that means is that the villain gets his/her way and the hero gets his/her way and that’s going to happen in this movie.
The point of the plots for an individual vs the system is that they always have one person stand up for themselves. They stand up for themselves because no one else will or they are sick and tired of others being treated the way they are. In some movies, they choose the ones you won't expect to stand up for themselves because what would be the point of having someone that you'd expect to stand up for themself.
I feel like the plot in the story is kinda when he gets people to get out of their comfort zone like the big dude named chief he shows everyone that cheif is capable of doing things still he tries to gert cheif to shoot a basketball witch he doesnt fully do it but he gets close she gets a bunch of other people to vote to change there work schedule so they could watch the world series but it never happens the point is they still voted the pill that they take calms them down so he rebels agaist it becaues he dosnt know what it is meier
it can help give hope to the people who are in systems. it can help them fight back. show us the good and the bad in those worlds and how we can fix it. there can be so many reasons it just depends on your point of view. to me to shows people that one person can do so much and how easy it can be to change a bad system. you just have to fight for it. if you want to change you have to work for it and fight. the people who sit back and down care are the reason why it's still controlling them. they are letting themselves into the system.
I believe it was when he asked to turn down the music so they could talk quieter and not have to scream, but my favorite was when he first asked about the game. Immediately when asked she shot it down and then said no. she tried everything in her power to keep the schedule. even when he had a talk about it with the main head of the ward he too brushed it off. It seems as if they just want to keep them calm and medicated instead of helping them through all their problems like any good person would do. Multiple people have already shown to have given up, some of them have absolutely nothing wrong with them and are stuck there because they don't bother to actually interact with them at all. They just seem to be freezing them in this delirious state instead of pushing them on. -cat
I believe that the point of stories like these is to allude to the challenges and real-life corruption we actually face. Fiction itself has a lovely way of expressing true themes and through a fictional story we can actually learn things about real life or gain and understanding and see a different point of view of a subject or ideal that we might've originally considered ourselves well versed in. These stories are also very captivating and easy to enjoy as the tend to bring some conflict and tension with them and there's nothing more that gets most people more excited than uncertainty and a great underdog story. I feel that it's also very relatable to see an underdog story as hopelessness is a feeling that most humans may come across, and to see a person in a position similar to us succeed is very motivational and inspiring to most, if not every, individual.
To be honest. I for one, am getting tired of seeing these kinds of plots or stories about one person(or more) who(sometimes) singlehandedly take down some big bad system of sorts. I have seen it done time and time again from movies to books to television to comics to video games to music, some of which can be very predictable or very cliche about how it goes. Many of these characters that are in them seem to be trying to be more like some sort of Jesus-like figure or worse, a Mary Sue(or Marty Sue), someone who is completely right in all places and can't be questioned. But there are some that are well done and have amazing characters but these are far and few in between. The only closest thing to a well-done modern take of this kind of plot is Joker(2019) where we see how this can fall into a worse situation than it originally was. I want to see more of a deconstruction type of film or other kinds of media to point out and show to the audience the problems these kinds of stories can bring and how to improve them.
It is to show that us as people shouldn’t just follow a corrupt system. We should fight back to go against them so they don’t take over. It is to show that if we come together we can overthrow a corrupt system. The other reason why we see stories with a good person against a corrupt system is because it creates conflict in stories in which all of the excitement happens. It also shows a small person beat a big person. The small person would be people against a big person's corrupt system. In the film that we are watching it show him going through what the nurse is telling him.
The point is, what this lady is persuading is she helps the mentally ill patients and treats them well. She is a therapist and therapists want to know why they are in the particular problem therein and want to help them as much as possible in the best way. The main point is helping others succeed to success with the help of anyone because there are benefits to helping others, one is it'll just make you happy and may relieve a lot of other people's stress if they have been having a bad day. It also creates a lot of belonging because helping others can help us to make new friends and connect with our community in many different ways and you can create stronger friendships if you think about it. For example like When you help others, you give off positive vibes, which can rub off on peers and improve your friendships.
it is trying to keep characters static instead of dynamic. this meaning that the static ones do not undergo any change. most of the characters are static so for other than mcmurphy he likes to be more rebelious is the term we would use in the story. he makes the story more interesting by being mono-minded like the other characters in this story/movie. mono-minded meaning that he does not stick to one thing he likes to keep his mind wilder than the others. if all the characters were mono-minded this story would be a lot more boring and not have as much interest in it. The other characters live under the corrupt system put in place at the ward. they just let their minds get taken over by rules and keep them insane without any real change because they have been put into fear mode because of how the system works. If the system actually gave the "guests" or patients of the ward change the ward would not have as many patients and would cause more sanity and with more sanity comes more ability to keep a better mindset towards steady thinking. the meds probably cause them to fear more and keep them from having a stable mindset. to sum it up being individual has more freedom and access to a better mind and corrupt keeps mono-minded people causing less mind freedom. I am on the individual side because my mind and life should not be controlled by people that would corrupt my actions and how I think
My blog task will be going in-depth on Handsome Jack and the vault hunters from Borderlands 2. Let’s start with Handsome Jack, he was the hero who saved Elpis, pandora’s moon from being destroyed by the Lost Legion, an army of former Dahl marines led by Tungsteena Zarpedon, who was the villain in the Pre-Sequel by turning “off” the eye of Helios when it was actually the eye of the destroyer from the first game and then was branded and killed off all of the CL4P-TP units, including the FRAG-TP unit that helped Handsome Jack to rise in power and then was later revived by 5H4D0W-TP, the rebellious side of claptrap who lived when claptrap was shot, making Jack and the 6 vault hunters (now 3 after the claptrap purge), the anti-hero(s), and everyone and their skag on Elpis the society. Now onto the 2nd game, canonically the 3rd game, where we have our 6 new vault hunters on their way to find the vault but was then ambushed by Handsome Jack’s loader bots resulting in the vault hunters to hunt the vault themselves. Along the way, handsome jack is trying everything in his power to stop the vault hunters and kill them, but the vault hunters are practically a one-man army with their unique skills resulting in the vault hunters killing Handsome Jack and killing the Warrior with everyone celebrating Handsome Jack’s death, resulting in the Vault Hunters and everyone at Sanctuary to be the anti-hero(s), and all of Hyperion to be the society in this, like, literally, they cleared out hundreds, maybe thousands of bandit camps just to get their way with everything that Handsom Jack wants, Hyperion is a mega-corporation that only cared about nothing but monetary gain until the tales game, the canon DLC that lead to the events of 3 (I suggest that you play the DLC in this order: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, and then Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, you’ll have to pay about 15 dollars for the last DLC if you want to play that one) and then Borderlands 3 itself (the DLC is really good if you get the season pass, I’d recommend getting the ultimate edition digital download that’ll dive you 6 DLCs with one being released on March 18th with a battle pass system minus the battle royale detail and this’ll give you new weapons, cosmetics, and room decorations, trust me this is good) I recomend the game series 10/10, the presequel’s mechanics are a little janky but still, 10/10.
It is to show that we as people shouldn’t just follow a corrupt system. We should fight back to go against them so they don’t take over. the other thing is that we see good people being putting problems that we don't think that they can't do it but they are like the underdog and comes back stronger than before.
People like hope and people find it satisfying to see karma kick annoying people in their place. They find it somewhat entertaining to watch someone like mcmurphy put people like that nurse where she should be. It makes people relate to it. People are going to enjoy things like movies and films about what they relate to since it is human. Plus we have all had a fair share of our version of a “corrupted system.” I think that’s why people enjoyed shawshank and the color purple since it’s about that one individual or that group that you take a side with and have their corrupt system that’s stopping them but they get the freedom or what they deserve at the end of the movie like Andy getting away with escaping the prison Red joining him at the end of the film. Celie reunites with her sister, getting her own place and everything.zody
I think the point of stories like this one is that people or kids with disabilities should be included with everything. I think that people and kids with disabilities should not be pushed out of anything. One person in this story is a individual against the system is Randel because he is not dumb or stupid he knows what game they are playing and he knows that he is smarter than everyone in the system. He knows that none of the people in there are stupid, then he finds out that they can leave anytime they want and I think that he feels he should be the same way but they have him as committed not volatery like a lot of the others. Randal thinks the people that are voluntary should not be in there and they should be out in the world living their life. He gets very upset because he should not be in there along with a lot of the other people.
The system at the psych ward is terrible because of how they are treated. because they barely get any freedoms and how they talk a lot about one person's problems for a while. it sucks how some of the people are there because they chose to stay there. Sometimes miss rachet shuts idea's down instead of trying to help what some people want. I think when the chief opened up to Mac. he Finally felt like he met someone who he can finally trust. I feel that they could take over the corrupt system if they can all agree on stuff and team up.
I think the main idea of stories like this is to inspire and relate with others. The majority of people are just individuals that will be fighting against potentially corrupt systems throughout their lives. I think with these stories, it’s to inspire and tell people that they can make a difference, that these systems can’t overtake or control you. With this story, Mac overcomes the system and makes the most out of everything, even benefiting the people around him. That also allows these stories to really relate to people. Like I said, the majority of people are the ones fighting against systems, so many of the people who see these stories can relate to it on a possibly personal level.
Rai I think the main idea of this story is hope. There was no hope in there when the jack came. They just do any they say to do and they do it. there are no hope and there are no life to have fun. when the jack came he gives some of hope to them they can do something in his life. There someone who try to take hop from them. she do not want to change any thing in there.
