Dad's Eyes—due August 23

Write 200+ words about your dad's eyes.

1. What have they seen?
2. What haven't they seen?
3. What do they "say" in certain situations?
4. What color are they?
5. Think to write even more than the answers to questions 1-4.

My Dad’s eyes have seen a lot he’s been looking around since nineteen-seventy three. My dad grew up in a small town in West Virginia where all he could tell me about were the stories of how beautiful it was the look of the trees, the cars, 1985 firebird, 1992 jeep wrangler, 94 ford bronco.
When my dad got older he went to the navy and enlisted he was there for the first gulf war and helped repair engines he would compare to the size of a semi-truck all on its own he had to fix them as fast and as efficiently he could.

My dads eyes are brown as mine I got his eyes and my dad's eyes do say a lot about him it shows how attentive and how focus he can be on one thing and then move on he’s seen many things he hasn’t told me about yet because I am still too young to understand and the way he looks now is quite shocking because in the past he used to be rough and rugged, bruised most of his mid-twenties. Showing his arrogance in his eyes that I see now is what I was told is it was worse than now.

My Dad’s eyes have been through a lot he sees many of things every day that come to work, traveling, hotels, Sturgis, home, outside, and many more. My dad's eyes have seen some pretty interesting things like nature, people, everyday objects, cars, computer screens, and the most important thing he sees is food. My dad’s eyes have probably seen everything that you can think of, so I don’t think he hasn't seen much that he missed out on. What are eyes say in a certain situation is that oh wow that is beautiful, she is good looking, I wish I had that place, Maybe I shouldn’t have said that like oh now I am in trouble. My dad eye color is blue, they are now like turning into hazel as he gets older. Also, his eyes are very special because I don’t want to see what he sees sometimes because they are not important for everyone to know. My dad’s eyes can be what they want to be sometimes and like wonder into is own world and see what he wants to see and do what he wants to do and imagine things that are cool to him and that are funny like teasing people and like how he would look good in a car that he wants.

My dad’s eyes

Well, my dad’s eyes saw me since I came to this world he was there. His eyes were how I started to look at them with a lot of love to both of my parents, his eyes dropped a tier when they saw me for the first time because I was his first kid people tells me they were waiting for me. The eyes of my dad when I start to go in my knees and when I step up by myself only my dad eyes saw how he worked for his family and how many times he was up counting the money to pay all our bills that he had to pay. His eyes also looked at how happy we were all together celebrating a party or a birthday. The times that my dad’s eyes cried were because he was happy and that is good cry is not bad, it helps you a lot more than what you think. After all, everything is good, my dad’s eyes can’t see me anymore because I'm not with him but I bet when he looks at the sky with his eyes he remembers me and think how happy we were but when he closes his eyes he can feel me close to him and that I am right next to him how I was a little kid always right next to him.

My Dad's eyes have seen most things in the world, but some of the things he has not seen is the country of Europe. His eyes say happiness when he is at church or with his family. His eyes show sadness when he is down about himself and when things don't go as planned. His eyes show faithfulness when he is at church or when he has big life events. His eyes show anger when he is working sometimes and when something bad happens in the world. His eyes show bravery when he stands up for himself. My dad's eyes are the color brown. My dad's eyes are strong when he is happy and when he is proud of himself and confident in himself. My dad's eyes are pretty when he cries or when the sun shines on them. My dad's eyes are bright when he smiles with joy. My Dad's eyes love to read the bible and love to see nature. I think my dad's eyes are one of a kind. My dad's eyes love to see the countryside with farmhouses, barns, horses running, farm animals and the tractors raking hay and moving hay. His eye's love to see the birds flying in the sky and flying on trees.

About dads eyes
What color are my dad's eyes? My dad's eyes are usually blue but do sometimes turn almost grey or green. What has my dad's eyes seen? My dad's eyes have seen many things in life like his sister being born, growing up and watching his wife walk down the isle. He has seen his kids being born, them learning how to walk, talk, read, ride a bike, and write. His eyes have seen his daughters learning how to skate and do their programs. His eyes have seen his children learn how to fish. His eyes have seen what a cop sees and everything he has to do. His eyes have seen his father get put down to rest. His eyes have seen his daughter run in a cross country meet and his son plays football. What hasn't my dad's eyes seen? My dad hasn't seen any of his children graduate. What do my dad's eyes say in certain situations? My dad's eyes have said he is sad but trying to act strongly to not show his kids that something is wrong. His eyes have said he is really mad when something makes him mad.

My dad’s eyes. They are dark brown with a little shine. When I look into them I see my lost soul. People in this class will talk about what they have seen but what about what they haven’t seen? He didn’t see me the day I was born. He didn’t get to see me grow up.
He watched my brothers sports. All the football games. The basketball games. Even their soccer games. He sees all 6 of his boys grow up. He doesn’t get to see his only girl grow up until she is old enough to take care of herself. His eyes say he will be there but his eyes also lie. When he realizes what he sees in front of him matters more than he thinks than maybe it’ll make him wise.
He watches me push him away because I didn’t need him. He watches me cry over people and friends. Yet, he doesn’t see everything through his big dark brown eyes. Men tend to see things differently than women which makes them misunderstand things. Their eyes will show how they feel but they don’t say who they truly are in the end. Don't mistake their story like I did to my dad.

My dad’s eyes are blue. The same as mine and my mom’s. He wears glasses when he is trying to read or work on the computer. He needs to hold his phone out to see what it says. My dad’s eyes are easy to read. Sometimes, they are excited and you can see the shine in them. Sometimes, they are angry, as he squints his eyes and his eyebrows come down. Sometimes, I do things that surprise him and they widen with happiness. I have also seen my dad’s eyes with tears as he shows his sadness. My dad’s eyes have seen his farm has he was growing up. They have seen my mom as she walked down the aisle. They looked at me when I was born. They tell as story about his life. My dad has seen many wonderful things with his eyes. He has seen England, Antigua, and Canada. He has also seen many of the beautiful things in America. They haven’t seen me graduate or get married. They have not seen my future children. They have not seen my mom get older yet. I am sure his eyes will always be loving to me and his family. Depending on what he sees, he knows what to say to me. His eyes are necessary to help me with my bowling techniques. He helps me to see the world differently. My dad’s eyes are supportive.

I think my dad has seen a lot of things good and bad. Some of the good things are the birth of his children. Some bad ones are hitting a deer with a car. He has been in the army so he has to have seen a gun. Eye color is blue I think. Another bad is going to both his parents funerals. A good is seeing almost all his children graduated. Bad is seeing them leave home and become adults. See are mother run into 2 trees with a car. Watch his children get there licences. I have not ever seen my dad cry. He doesn't show much emotion he kind of has to force a smile on his face other wish his face is just resting. His eyes have seen more death and life in this world then I will see in the next few years. He has seen some of his sibling be barreyed. And see where the world has deteriorated to from his time. Saw movies with his family and the country how nice it is though the seasons. See his kids get off the bus and run up the drive way rushing to get home.

What has my dad's eyes seen? Well from the start of my life on April 23, 2002, he saw his baby boy for the first time. He then saw my sister and I grow up doing whatever little kids do. He saw me learn how to catch a baseball and skate. Then he saw me start to play some sports like baseball, hockey, and tennis. He was always there watching. Then he watched me buy my first car and start driving. He has also seen my family on a lot of vacations such as on the beach or in the mountains hiking. He then saw us move from our house in Brandon to a house in Sioux Falls. He saw me pass the eighth grade and go onto my high school journey. He saw me start to grow up and get a job and start thinking about my future. He watched as my sister and I started doing our own things with friends and being busy with work, sports, and school and he knew that we were going to be gone soon. Just recently he watches my sister unlock the door to her new college dorm and watched us carry boxes into it. That's what my dad's eyes have seen.

My dad’s eyes have seen a lot during his life my dad was born in Bismarck, North Dakota and my dad kept on telling me stories about him going fishing with his brothers and his father my dad’s eyes have also seen hunting with his dad and brothers. My dad’s eyes haven’t seen a war in person, they haven’t seen people that have built their own business and haven’t seen any nice cars because he didn’t buy nice cars or trucks but he has seen nice cars on the road. What my dad’s eyes have said in situations like if I did something wrong or not do my homework I can see in his eyes that if I don’t try doing something about or doing my homework that I will get consequences and be disciplined. My dad’s eye color is brown they always have been and there are ways that you can change your eye color but he never did that. My dad has also told stories about how my mom and dad met in high school and how his dad would embarrass him in his neighborhood by giving him a haircut even when he didn’t want one or didn’t like it either.

My father's eyes, they are wise, they have learned from the years that have gone by on what and what not to do. They saw when I came into the world and watched me grow up to the person I am today. When I looked at my father's eyes, I see hope, hope that all things will go according to plan, like me getting into a college, or maybe that I will go through life with no regrets by giving it my all, But the main thing I noticed with my father's eyes is that they are old, they have seen almost everything from tragedy to happiness. But with his eyes, he has not seen what he wants to see, like from far away lands across the ocean, and his eyes may be old but i dont think they could ever get tired of new experiences of the world. And maybe one day he will get tired of it. But i dont think that will ever happen. Its crazy how your eyes will always be the same no matter what, from being a baby till now, they have been the same size through your life.

My Dad's eyes are a dark green and have gone through and seen a lot of stuff. Let me start off with his childhood he was born in Poland and his family was poor. My dad when he was about 9 he found his dad after he died. That caused his family to struggle to the point my dad's mom had to send him to the United States with his little brother and no money when he was 17 because his mom could not afford to keep them healthy and a roof over their head. So my dad had to work at 17 to pay for a roof and eventually became a very skilled painter and made a painting business with his little brother called Eurotech Painting. Painting as a job was how he met my mom from painting her house. Also the time my parents got married my dad's mom has become mentally ill. My dad's eyes show he is a hard worker, not a lot of people know how much hard work my dad puts in except his customers which always give good feedback because my dad is an overachiever instead of doing the bare minimum of his job, he does extra stuff to make sure his job looks as perfect as possible.

My dad’s eyes have seen a lot. The first thing he saw in his early life were amongst his dad’s farm. My dad has seen many types of machinery such as tractors, combines, baler and more. He watched his dad use them and learned from him. He saw many animals such as horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, rabbits, and even peacocks as he grew up. He has seen many places but none ever too far from home. He has never seen foreign soil before. He, however, has seen many beautiful places. One of his favorites being in the mountains of Colorado. He has watched three of his kids grow up. He watched them learn to do many things as they grow up such as taekwondo, chess, fishing, hunting, soccer, gymnastics, cheer and many more from his two daughters and one son. The color of his eyes is brown.

My Dad Eye’s is a dark brown color his eyes are sometimes scary when I do something bad or wrong and when something good at happens at home I would think his eye get lighter or brighter
His eye was there to see his family grow up and keep an eye out for us. My dad eye I would never see a tear of sad but only happen My dad eye where there when he took me to preschool. His eye saw me go to my first basketball game when I was in 7th grade he was there when I did track he would see that I’m trying my best to impress him. When I went to 8th grade he when back to South Sudan for 2 years I would call him and he would sometimes tell me what he sees like one time he told me he sees wild coyote looking for food or he went into the forest and saw big tree wild boar running around. When he came he saw that his sons are now bigger and taller

My dad’s eyes has seen it all he seen some very bad stuff and then he has seen some very good thing . his eyes are brown like my are and he grew up in a little town in wyong and he has seen some cool stuff out there like a rattlesnake eating a rabbit. He also has seen some bad stuff like seeing someone get bit by a rattlesnake and taking them to the hospital. Then they had to get their finger cut off because they could not save it and it could have killed him. He has seen more bad things like seeing watching a car roll 17 times and the people getting out and they did not have anything wrong with them. When bad things happen his eyes are saying wow did that really just happen in front of me. They have seen a lot of cool cars like a 1978 dodge d100 custom that was all redone and looking nice. Then he has seen some stuff that should not be able to drive on the street. They should go to the junkyard. His eyes have seen just about everything that you can think of they have seen a lot of places when he was a truck driver. There are only two places that they have not seen

My dad's eyes haven't seen a whole lot of my life. My dad's eyes said his last goodbye to me when I was three-years old. My dad's eyes gave up on me before he even had the chance to get to know me. My dad's eyes watched me be born. But didn’t bother to stick around for the life he created. My dad's eyes met another girl and had a kid with her and left my little brother and her after he was born. The one I have not met. My dad's eyes don’t do much besides find places to go when he gets tired of someone. My dad's eyes haven’t met my boyfriend of three years going on four. I bet my dads eyes didn’t even know that my boyfriend is serving in the miltary. My dads eyes think so low of everyone. My dad's eyes didn’t get to see me on my first day of school and soon to be my very last day of school. My dad's eyes didn’t get to see his own little daughter grow up and go to prom. My dad's eyes tell me one thing for sure and that is that he doesn’t like to face bad situations, and he doesn't care about anyone but himself. My dad's eyes tell me that he is a very selfish person and only loves himself. -harris
