I think that my mom chose my name because it was her favorite. They had a bunch of names for if I was a boy and or a girl but they wanted my name to be simple and not so difficult to spell for others. I also think that it is kind of cool seeing a bunch of other kids that have my name and it is spelled differently. The place where I work at I has a lot of the kids call me Sarah because it would be easier for them to understand. I have for sure tried to get them to say it right but it just doesn't work. Which is for sure okay and I understand that. Sometimes I feel weirded out cause when I am working at my current job which is at the daycare I may see kids with the same name as me and they look just like me when I was little. My mom and dad actually fought over what my name was going to be but I thought that my dads side for the name was kinda weird. I am very thankful that he did not get the chance to name me because he ended up leaving my family when I was three years old and left my family in a lot of depts. My older brother has the same middle name as me besides his is spelled “Nicole” and mine is spelled “Nichole”. I am not a huge fan of my last name cause at family events or something when they call your last name I kinda feel like I am out of place because my whole family has different dads meaning that they have a different last name. If I could change my last name I would want it the same as bak. Which is my moms.

Using the book example and my example, write 300+ words about your name. Well, I kinda have an interesting name. My name is William Colton Duane Hood 5th. I go by Colton because that’s what my parents wanted my name to be. My dad’s name is William Christopher Hood and he goes by Chris. One thing that confuses me though is my dad’s dad’s name is also William but he goes by Bill which is another name for William. When people find out my name is William they look super shocked and in disbelieve. They say they are gonna call me William from now on but they never do and I’m glad because I like the name, Colton. When I was born my parents were sure that if I was a boy I would be William Colton Dune Hood 5th but if I was a girl they had like 5 names picked out for me. I think that my name is cool and unique because how many people go by there middle name, or have two middle names. The name William comes from my dad’s side so my mom wanted to put Duane in there because that is my mom’s dad’s middle name. When I was young I was given my great grandmother’s nickname Ole. She was called Ole because her last name was Olson. I was called Ole because when I was young I wanted to be a goalie in hockey so my cousin started calling me Ole the Gollie. The thing that I like most about my name is my last name. I don’t know why but the name Hood seems like a cool and unique last name. The name William means to protect. The name Colton means from coal or dark town. The name Duane means dark or black.

Bruce
Using the book example and my example, write 300+ words about your name.
So my name is Allyson Nancy Bruce and I know that my middle name is named after my mom's moms so my great-grandma I was named after her. My parents were going to name me instead of Allyson. It was going to be Brittiany which I am glad that I was named Allyson because I don’t like Brittany as my name. My name means noble, kind. Allyson comes from Scottish origin and a lot of people spell my name wrong like it is normally spelled like this Allison but my mom wanted it to be unique so she wanted it with any so it is spelled like Allyson. My last name came from Scotland and it is Bruce. So what people normally call me by is Ally or by my last name because it is one word and it is easier to say than Allyson in the past most of my coaches are teachers have called me by bruce or ally because it is simply to say and comes out quicker and easier to say. Or my parents call me by al because my grandma's name is Alice and they call her big al and I am little al and Allyson is originally from Alice so that is why my dad calls me al sometimes. Then my mom calls me abe and I have no clue why she called me that but I just listen to her. So that is the background of my name nothing too special about it just get a lot of nicknames which is fine most people call me by my last name not a lot of people call me by my first name so if someone calls me by that it is weird just used to be called by my last name which is fine.

Using the book example and my example, write 300+ words about your name.

Paragraphs. Lists. You decide.

My name is Adonis. My name comes from “It is of Greek origin, and the meaning of Adonis is "extremely good looking, handsome". Greek mythology: a beautiful youth beloved of Aphrodite, goddess of love”. As you can tell here it is pretty cool and I love my name, but my parents were not that educated to look for a name like that one with meaning. My mom went to school for three years only until third grade. My dad didn’t go to school so I think my name they just came out with the name like making it up. My first name is Santos that name comes from my dad that is his second name because his first name is Jose and here we start my family is very religious my both grandmas and grandpas are very religious so to their kids they wanted to put religious names like Jose, Juan, Guadalupe, and Maria for girls for example for my dad side out of four boys 3 carry the name of Jose and the other one is Guadalupe. The two girls are called Maria for my mom's side. Also all the girls their names start as Maria and most of the men's names start as Jose. In my other family relatives, the mayor of them is called Jose and Maria. In my family, we differentiate one from the other because of the second name because in my culture we most of the time we call people by their second name. Everyone that knows me over there in my country calls me Adonis. My name has different ways to say it for other people in which these are Adonay, Adonias as you can tell this is very similar and the way that says it too. When people call me by those other names, they get really mad. Because they are not saying it right and they speak Spanish as I do. When they say my name bad I correct them right away because they have not executed to say it badly, but here in the U.S. is different if they don't say it right it's okay because they speak a different language and it is compressible. After all, I love my name and I wouldn’t change it.

Hamner
Using the book example and my example, write 300+ words about your name? Paragraphs. Lists. You decide.

My name is a Greek name. It came from the name alexander. It is the feminine form of Alexander and it means the defender of men. My name is Alexandria. My nicknames are Lexy and lex. And my nickname means man’s defender. I've never really liked the name of Alexandria. I think it is too long and many people don't say it right or give me nicknames that I don't like, like Alexa, Alex, Alexis, and lexis and then my nickname gets spelled like Lexi or lexie and I don't like it. My first name could have also been Kathryn. Kathryn is a french baby name and it means pure and clean. I don't like either of the names my mom picked out for me. My middle name is Amy. My middle name is named after my great-grandma who died right before I was born. Amy is a French name and it means Dearly loved: beloved. The other option of my middle name is joy, named after another great-grandma. My mother's middle name is Joy and the same with my mother's mother her middle name is joy. Joy derives from old french Joie. Joy means delight or great happiness. I don't think I have a favorite of the middle names I like them both and they are both after my great grandmas. Last but not least with my name is my last name that is Hamner. The Hamner name came from Germany and Australia. The Hamner name means blacksmith and was most likely first borne by someone who helped this occupation.

Using the book example and my example, write 300+ words about your name. My name is Samuel James Biren when my parents were deciding what to name me they originally didn’t have Samuel in mind as a first option. My dad’s sister-in-law was pregnant with a boy expected days within me being born. Both her and my mom liked the name, Spencer. I was born first but my mom and dad decided to name me Samuel and my Aunt named my cousin Logan. When I was younger my mom made sure that everyone called me Samuel and not Sam. She would always correct someone and say that his name is Samuel not Sam. I’m not too picky whether people call me Sam or Samuel, most people end up calling me Sam just because it’s shorter and easy to remember. I got my middle name from my Grandpa on my mom’s side. My grandpa’s first name is James so that’s what my mom wanted my middle name to be. My mom wanted a name from her side. My grandpa James liked to travel such as to Germany and Ireland because that’s where his family name comes from. Finally, my last name, My last name is a German name and pronounced “Beer-In” but many people commonly mispronounce my name and say “By-ren” because there is an “I” in there. I don’t know why it is pronounced or spelled the way that it is. Miss Juffer, one of my science teacher told me that’s was how she was going to remember how to pronounce my last name.

I got my name from the Biblical Garden of Eden, and it means delight. It is given to girls and boys. My name is easy to pronounce but since it spelled differently with an error that was made before I came here I got 5 or 6 pronunciation to my name. I don't really care when people call me in different ways when they don't know the actual pronunciation but sometimes I get mad when people call me wrong way purposely. I like my name as it is because it has historical meaning from a bible. My middle name Fekadu means as you wish or something you do as you like. My last name Achamylh means you can't be replaced or you are the unique one.

Wyatt Jeffrey Haas
My first name means the son of the forest guide. It has a french base with an American heritage. I was named Wyatt with the idea of having Earp in my name as well. I would be named after Wyatt Earp, a famous cowboy. This name Origin is also an English surname which also means “brave in war”. It is also gender of male decent. For the story of my name, Wyatt was derived from the Medieval English name Wyot, itself a form of the given name Wigheard, the wig meaning “war” and heard “brave”. The name Wyatt is popular somewhat around the world, coming in 26th in the US(2018), 85th in New Zealand(2018), 283rd in England(2018). I was interested in what rank my name was when I was born and it was 107th place in the US in 2001. The most popular my name has ever been was in 2019 when it got to 22nd place. With my information, I like to compare the numbers and make sense of them. With my middle name, popularity was mainly from 1960 to 1975. This was the prime of the name where it got to the rank of 3rd place in 1965. This was the highest it has ever been. From the years around it. The popularity was high but not noticeable. The name started as Geoffrey which arose in the middle ages. As time went on the name evolved from several different germanic names. The meaning of this name is “Gift of Peace” which I mean if you look at me its not wrong.
