I see myself in 3:10 to Yuma as the son of Dan Evans, He has the courage and talent of saving the others when they need it the most. Also, Dan Evans has only one leg, my dad also only has one leg. William has learned many things from his father and I have done the same. The movies we watch today show us how, to be honest, and show us how to work hard and never give up. -Haas
How do you see yourself in the movie? I see myself in the movie as a brave and smart person. I also see myself as a person that will never give up and always try no matter what, like Dan did in the movie. I also see myself as a person that is strong and has no fear and someone that wants to have justice. I also see myself as someone who wants to become a hero and do something big and huge for once, at least one time in my life. I also see myself as someone who will toughen up when things get worse or harder to do or when you get in a bad situation.
What qualities in the movie do you have? I think some of the qualities in the movie that I would have is being brave and strong. Being truthful and wise. Being smart and always trying no matter what happens. Being a person that is always ready for what comes next and doing things for my family. Being a person that will help my family even if I have to risk my own life for them. Being a person that will support my family and do whatever it takes to help my family and to make my family have money and a good life.
How can movies show the best of what we should be? I think that movies can inspire us to do good things in life. I think movies can move us in many different good ways at times and I think that movies can teach us a lot of good lessons that we should have in our lives and lessons that are good for us in our lives and also lessons that we can use to make some things better in our lives. I think movies also have messages that are good for us at times and I think movies can really change us in ways too.
How can movies show the best of what we should be?
I’m choosing to write about the movie 3:10 to Yuma because we just watched it in class. I think that I best represent the character, William Evans because he would never let his father down and neither would I. William at the beginning of the movie is kinda rude and disrespectful to his father which I can be to but I never would mean too. William is also a brave character going out to be with his dad because he didn’t want him to fight alone and that’s the same thing I would do to. Movies can motivate us to be like the character in a film which can be a good thing or a bad thing but most people would pick to be the good guy in the film.
riley schroeder Easy i see myself as the background characters they don’t add anything to the plot usually. I could be the dead corps if I wanted to. They get to live their life and think that there is nothing wrong with the world sometimes. The qualities that I see are just an every day working joe that wants to keep his life going until the end of it. It can show the best of us by seeing what we are more like in the movie I guess. The qualities I would have are work, walk, sleep, eat, and ect. Just the ones to live my life. Sometimes the background people get unlucky and end up the corps but that just means they get to go on with the next stage if you believe in a next stage. If you think about it everyone is living there in a little movie. We see everything from the first person and have problems that we solve ourselves. But there really is no other need to be more than just a background character as long as i’m alive i can live with it. My attributes are having fun if need be, rude if need be, sleeping if need be, and more if need be. Also all the background people have different skills that might be useless that I might just have to. I don’t really want to be more than what I’m. other then that I don’t really have anything.
How do you see yourself in the movie? I see myself in the movie as those people that are the main character sometimes. It all depends on the movie that I am watching. Sometimes I see myself as the bad guy or on the side of the bad guys. I see the characters and I imagine myself how I will never be because everything is fictitious or because it is just a simple movie.
What qualities in the movie do you have? I feel that I have not the qualities that I see in movies.
How can movies show the best of what we should be? In order for people to see a movie, or show the movie need to get people’s attention, so people watch their movies, and as people we need to see something that we can identify ourselves or something that we wish we could be( real or not real). Every person is different so the producers need to do something that they can like to the most group people so they can get money and be famous. Many of us in some point of our life we said the words “ I wish, I could be like that him/her/them” In fact, things times changes and also what people like to watch so the producers have to invest to create movies according to the era that we live in and this will keep changing as we are changing also.
How do you see yourself in the movie? I see myself as a quiet but selfless person. I can relate my self to william me and my dad don’t see life the same way I don't disrespect my dad like willam but sometimes I wanna do stuff that he thinks that I don’t know what I am doing

How can movies show the best of what we should be? Some movies show how we should fight for what we belive in and protect are family.
I see myself in the movie as dan evans I would want to be like him. One reason that I would want to be like his is becasue he has alot of courage and interity and he is verry brave. They want the person to have more screen time to show what their life is and how they handle things in life. They show the struggle or the happiness of a person. They show how they never give up and how they inspire people to do better.
What qualities in the movie do I have Honest Trustworthy Liked Understanding Reasonable
I see myself like dan wants to be a good father figure and always trying to show the kids what it is like in my shoes so then they get to see the reason why I do the things I do in the movie. I also see myself like dan because he is reasonable, understanding and honest to his family. I see myself like ben as well because he is quick, problem solver, a thinker and he is educated. I think movies shows the best of what we could be because when you are an actor and you take different roles in movies it shows different sides of you and your personality and then when you are the audience you will see the roles of the characters in the movie change the way that you can look at them and ultimately you will figure out if you like the characters different personality in the movie and how it will affect them. Movies also can bring out our best features if their roles need those key features that the actors know they have.
Webb, Parker I would see myself as a person who would be William I used to be that way towards my dad and now I see all he ever wanted to do was help me even if that meant how strict he was I used to be rebellious and never listened to them and wondered why I kept on getting in trouble but I see now all he's done was to shape me better to be a man in the future and I came around to respect him quite a bit as I was usually a person who wouldn't listen and would try to help along the way to prove myself to him I used to be quite violent and prone to anger quite quickly and the movie shown me that they might be strict or tight on rules but in the end, all he wanted to do was help his sons out so they would be better than him and shows that they cared all along ben wade shown that the most as he took it as a game all along but switched sides right at the end showing that all he cared for was a friend someone to share a laugh with or to tell stories to and could trust it shows even the worst of people have a soft side.

I can see me giving up in this movie. But I could also see me being dan and never giving up because I wanted to look like a hero to my own kids if I had them. If I was Dan in the movie some of my benefits would be not giving up and keep going no matter how hard it got. Also taking care of my family and I guess having a family to me would always want me to protect family. Movies can show the best of what we can be because it shows people the good and bad in us and sometimes people seeing the bad first and the good towards the end helps.

Hamner I see myself in the movie as not a main character may be one of the townspeople because I'm more of a quiet person. I don't have a lot of qualities in the movie I could be hard working or persistent but I don't like to cause a lot of trouble. Movies can show the best of us by showing us what we can do and what we are capable of.
I see myself in the movie as Dan Evans because he always wants to be an example for his family, kids, and also other people that see him. I choose him because he is not scared of any danger that happens to his life and I'm not either. Also, William (Dan Evans Son) is the bravest kid that I think because I was really surprised when I saw William's bravery as a little kid because not many kids are brave and wanted to face a dangerous situation. I think a movie shows what we can do by showing us struggles that others have faced but might happen in our life.
When we watch movies or read stories we often like to relate ourselves to the characters in them. As I was watching the movie 3:10 to Yuma, I could see myself as being William Evens. In this movie, it is easy to choose him because he is by far the closest in age with me so we would do similar stuff. He wanted to help his dad do good and help the family because I and William are both kind-hearted and like to help others. His dad tells him no because he wants to keep him safe and wants someone to look after his mother and younger brother. William disobeys his father witch would probably be something I might do and sneaks out of the house after his dad leaves to follow them.
