The poem that I picked for far in the past was the curse of the inability to imagine and it is by Tania Lombrozo. I picked this because I thought that it would be interesting based on the picture because I was wondering why he is standing there by the phone when there is no phone there. What this is about is this person named Tania Lombrozo is an associate professor of psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. And in this article, she explores how people often view the past as unsophisticated because they know new technology is yet to come. As I read through this I am considered my experience with the present impacts me and how the future will look and influence me. I agree with this poem because I liked to see how they lived their lives and what they had to do while they were in their free time and realize what we have now compared to what they had has really changed. I like this because Like I said above here I like to see what they had to go through and what they had to do for work etc… Another reason why I picked this poem is that how would they do long-distance travel back then they didn’t have fancy cars like we do or transportation like we do they had to do horseback and a carriage to pull them or ox or camels to get around or they would have to walk miles and miles to get where they were going. Finally what they had, in general, was all old-time things that worked slow in general.

The poem I picked for this one is AUSTRIAN HEIR AND WIFE SHOT TO DEATH AFTER ESCAPING BOMBING by The Washington Herald. This was the only one that showed up very recently when I searched it so this is the one that I am going to do. So what his poem is about How Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie's visit to Sarajevo caused a stir among the citizens of Bosnia. What happened was many Serbians resented the fact that some Slavic peoples were forced to live under the austro-Hungarian rule. Then much of these Syrians focused much of their attention on Bosnia. Then it came down to assassination would help Bosnia leave the empire and join the Serbian kingdom and form the land of south Slavic people. With their power to the throne, dead tension between Austria and Serbia grew. Then, of course, one country decided to refuse all of the demands and then between Austria and Serbia grew then there became more problems. So that is all that happened. This is a story there is a lot going on in this story. I really don’t agree or disagree with this because I don’t really have a side on who is going to win or what because I wasn’t alive when this happened so I can’t have a say in it. I have the same opinion towards like or dislike towards this because I don’t have much say in it and I don’t know what happened between these two after this all went down. But I thought it was pretty interesting to read about this and what happened.

1st comment - I am writing about something that happened in 2015. They talk about how in 2015 a teen and a trolly reveal society's darkest spots. This happened in Washington DC. The teen is from New York city. I am thinking that she must have been on spring break or something when she was traveling. This problem has been known as the trolly problem. The first time the problem was fully described was in 1967 by a journalist. Then later one this teen came along and she tried to figure out the trend and what it was. She wanted to see if it is a real tread or if it is a life. She was only a few years off when she went to go try to test it. There is a news thing out there stating that there may not be any correct answer but they still want to try and learn this. I think that this girl is very willing to learn and make a huge impact on the world. They think that later on in the reading that they are thinking people will have different decisions in life and different thoughts about it. And they are very worried because they do not want to look like liars.Tiffany is not sure why there were such notable differences in choosing between people who are attractive or plain, rich or poor, disabled or not. She later on observes that the results of this does not make our society look very nice and she is very concerned about that. They think with the information they got out of this that they can target bias and make it more of a relaxing world and not have everyone after each other all the time. This story to me was very interesting.

2nd comment- my second comment will be about a story that was just written. This story is called laura's keys. The author of this story is Anna Marie. That to me was very cool because I absolutely love the name anna. And I know a lot of people with the name marie. Too many I think. This story is related to school and how kids can run track or play any game but everyone wanted to play tennis. However you had to try out to do that. The town they are talking about is pretty small so they did not have a boys or girls team they just combined it to both to make it easier. They had a harder time competing because of this. The girl Laura had a huge dream about winning the glory of the falcons. I do not know how old this girl is saldy. But she does sound pretty young. Later in the story it talks about how this girl Laura is trying to keep a positive attitude towards her mother but it was hard. The reason why is because Lara sat on the bench the whole time. She did not even get the chance to perform in front of her own mom. This story is kinda sad because they should be using every player on the team. I personally hope that couchs read this to understand that including everyone no matter how you do it is very important. The way it sounded the mom was trying to keep a positive attitude too. But I did not hear anything about anyone else being there. This little girl for sure needs some cheering up and to go practice with someone. And the couch in this story owes an apology to the mom and the girl. That is not how you treat people.

ROSA REFUSES
by Ruth Spencer Johnson 2008,
This was a story about a time in the past. December 1955. It was written as it was a letter between two people. The letter was written about the unfair ways that the bus company treats blacks. They were to ride in the back of the bus. The white people could sit in the front. She had made references to Detroit where blacks could sit anywhere on the bus that they wanted. She told the story of Rosa Parks. Rosa got arrested as she was tired of giving in to the white people. They decided to boycott the bus company in Montgomery Alabama. Over 50,000 people quit riding the bus. The bus company was going to lose a lot of money because of the boycott. The taxi drivers in the town would give the rides for only $.10 as that was the amount of money that it would cost to ride on the bus.
Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. was the leader of the boycott. He stated that they could peacefully protest “with courage and dignity- we can make great changes for black people”.
The boycott ended after almost a year of peaceful protests. When it was over, Rosa Parks and other black people were able to ride in the front of the bus if they wanted to.
I like this story as I am interested in history. I think that it was so sad that black people were not treated the same as white people. I am so happy that Martin Luther King made a difference with his boycotts and his speech. He is a true leader. I cannot imagine how black people must have felt in those times. I am sure that they felt sad and not equal. Today, we have made a change in treating people equally but we still have a long way to go. People are people no matter what color, race, or ethnicity they are.

WHAT IS ANTARCTICA?
by NASA2010
I picked this story as it was written within the past decade. It gave me a lot of facts. I liked learning about these things. Some of the facts I learned:
Earth's fifth-largest continent,
It also covers Earth's the South Pole
the coldest place on Earth
cold enough to freeze water all the time
Antarctica has two seasons: summer and winter.
Antarctica is a desert. It does not rain or snow a lot there
made up of lots of ice in the form of glaciers, ice shelves, and icebergs.
The only plants that can live in a place that cold are moss and algae.
NASA wants to know how Antarctica is changing
NASA understand how changing polar ice may affect the rest of the planet
Melting ice sheets in Antarctica may change sea levels all over the world
scientists create detailed maps
a good place to find meteorites or rocks that fall from space
find more meteorites in Antarctica than any other place in the world
Antarctica and Mars have a lot in common. Both places are cold. Both places are dry as a desert

Overall, I thought the story was interesting. It makes me wonder what Antarctica is really like. I also wonder what is in the ice that makes up Antarctica. It will be interesting to see what other information NASA and scientists can find by doing their studies.
This summer, my family is planning on taking a family vacation to Florida. We plan on going to NASA to have a tour of their site. We have driven past it before, but we have never toured it. I think that this will be very interesting to see and learn more about what they do and how they are researching planets and continents.

When I went to the website I chose the short story excerpt from “where lovers dream” and the short story is written by Anzia Yezierska and the story is written in 1916. This story is about how a woman goes to a wedding that she had been invited to and she runs into an old lover. At the beginning of the story, it talks about how she had been telling herself for many years that she will act a certain way when she sees him and she will show him that what he did to her will not affect her now like he thought he had hurt her and that she is stronger than he thinks she is. But when she went to the wedding and when she saw him all of her planning and telling herself that she was okay totally crashed and she realized that she was hurt and she is still hurt. But then she gathered herself and then she thought she could be okay through the rest of the wedding but then she sees him again and he is coming to her and she freaks out and totally breaks down and then at the end of the story it was almost like she was just dreaming and continuing to freak out because the guy who was cleaning up the place told her that the wedding was over. I enjoyed this short story because it shows how people react and how people can think they are fine but one little thing can show them that they are not.

It was hard for me to find a short story or poem that had been written very recently or recently at all. I tried finding a short story but I wasn't having any luck so I found a poem. The poem I chose is called the tempest 4.1.156-8 that was written by Gary Soto. The poem was also written in 2016. The poem is about death. The first line says “we are such stuff… rounded with asleep” and I think that the sleep that they are talking about stands for death and I think it is true that we are rounded by it because we always worry about it and that how our life ends is with a night of eternal sleep. The poem also talks about how loved ones look away because no one likes losing a family member or someone we love so we always look away from death because we never want it to happen. The poem then says that “to witness death is painful” which I think is true because when we lose a loved one or someone very close to us it is very sad and painful to think that they are no longer here with us to enjoy life anymore and that we can't make any more memories with them. The story talks about how death happens and about the way people's eyes can be open or they can close. Then the story talks about the weight of the spirit of the person that is passing away and I think you can feel that around you so that you know that they are safe. I liked this story or poem because it talks about how death is a real thing and how it surrounds us in our everyday life and how we try to get around it but we can't.

Write 300+ words about it. Mention the title and author. Summarize what it says. Agree/disagree. Like/dislike. Why? The Title is Mother To Son. It was written in 1922 by Langston Hughes. The poem is basically telling her son that life ain't easy there's gonna be rough patches. It also basically tells her son life hasn't been easy for me and that she didn't turn back and she is telling her son not to turn back no matter how hard it is you have to keep pushing no matter what. She also says she is still going and telling him to keep going because life has not been easy but she is making it and so can her son. The mother is giving advice to her son about the challenges of life. It also illustrates how sometimes life becomes too heavy, but a person should never give up. The poem also talks about the thoughts of a mother whose life is surrounded by misery. She tells him never to sit down on the steps, never to fall, and never to turn back. She tells him that the floor is too uncomfortable to sit down on. The mom gives her son advice about how to improve his lot in a racist society by talking about about climbing a set of stairs. While white people can climb up a crystal stair meaning they enjoy a smooth and easy ascent black people are forced to take a dangerous and dark staircase.

It was written by Tyler Berrigan. So this article talks about how tape is something used very often but it's not good for the earth. It uses sticky adhesive made by fossil fuels called crude oil. It takes millions of years to develop so once people extract this fuel it can't be quickly replaced and processing them also emits pollution including greenhouse gases. So a team of researchers thought they would try to find a greener option. One that would be more friendlier to the environment. They wanted to make polymers from natural renewable resources. They want to substitute plants for oil as a starting ingredient. They started with poplar trees. They soaked their wood in chemicals to break the lignins long chain like molecules into smaller bits and they collected these smaller pieces and made some minor tweaks to get the traits they wanted. Then they designed these chains to mimic the oil based types used in todays tape. They coated a thin tape like piece of plastic with the new glue and conducted peel test. They measured the force needed to peel off the tape after it hade been pressed down and they tested it to tapes you can by at stores. They said the force needed to pull up tape with our adhesive on it was similar to the force needed to pull up scotch tape. Then they talked about if this new adhesive were someday used for store bought tapes it could help the environment in more than one way. They have invented the new glue from a renewable resource that is normally thrown away and turned it into something usefull

This one is about fire ants. And they wilder niss. It made that all the cats stop. They could call the embassy and it would be true. There really isn’t mutch about this story it is just a lot of none sens. I didn’t under stand why they where talking about hot embers. But this is supposed to be the old one so i guess it made sens to people back then. It had a interesting picture and looked like corn flakes and the middle looked like some eggs from a spider. But the most unliked thing in the picture is that it looks like it has fuzzy things on it.This is one about afracen chocolate. People are starting to worry about child labor in other countries. So they have the time to worry about other countries. The child picks coco beans and work with big knives. 6 thousand of the children are slaves. There goverment is payed. The families that grow the coco are very poor. Chocolate companies made a agree ment to end child labor. They promise to pay fair pay ment. They have renshord that the children go to school. Look for the fair traid trust mark wich is a green frog that helps them out.

The monkey's paw
This story takes ingland and the main characters are a married couple. So this couple and their son travel to India and they were given a Monkey's paw from Sargen mayor. Sargen mayor had the monkey's paw and he was going to burn it, but this couple asked for it and this guy warned them about the monkey's paw and he told them that it needed to be destroyed. The monkey’s paw could be real whatever wish you ask for but for every wish that you make it will be a consequence of that wish so that’s what makes this paw evil because of the consequence of making a wish. Sargen mayor just saw that problems that this monkey's paw could cause to people that use it for their wishes. The white family once they had the paw of their possession they decided to use it and ask the paw for 200 pounds which money so they made that wish and nothing happened the next days and they didn’t get the money just like that. After a few days their child had an accident in the factory that he was cutted off in half and the company felt bad about the incidents and they decided to give 200 punts to his parents as compensation for their loss. So as you can tell they got the money that they asked the monkey’s paw, but the cost of the money was losing their only child. We have here the wish made real and the consequence of the wish. One night the couple couldn’t sleep because of what they caused and the Ms. white ask to her husband to wish for their child to be alive again and he did and them someone start knocking the door and then the lady try to go running to open the door and Mr. white gets her locket in their bed room and he went to the door and get to the door and them he locked the door. That was the end. I love the story. I feel that end leaves you with that you want some more of the story itself.

Watch out: cell phone can be addictive

This article is about the use of their phones and the abuse that we have in phones these days. The study of these people in 2014 determined that college students use their phones for nine hours and that is more than what they get for sleep for some of them and the study shows that girls have a higher rate of addiction to theirs and the purpose of it. They talked about how they spend their time on apps such as facebook, twitter, instagram. This type of addiction can have the same effects that alcoholic people or people that use drugs have when they do not have they drog with them in case this college guy will have their phones and the time that they use it. According to this article no all of the students that use their phone or watch stuff in the media are addictive to the technology because some of them use when they have free time and if their phone die on them they do not take it with so much importance like that people that are really addict to they phones that instead of doing homework they watch they’re phones and the media. There is a difference from using your phone when you have nothing to do than have many things to do and just be on your phone all the time getting distracted and this can lead you to like lose your job, have problems with your family and fail grades. I like this study about phones and to be from six years ago it is really realistic that I will think that this was done yesterday I think that if this is done during these will show that many teenerger and most everyone is addicted to technology. I like this and i think that this is powerful ”Too much dependence on your smartphone isn’t smart”

First comment: NO MAN IS AN ISLAND by John Donne
What this poem is talking about is that everyone is unique in there own way but the one thing that we in common the most is death, because he talks about how no man is an island he means that every person is apart of an island and when we go through death in our lives those experiences helps us prepare for ours and then it passes on and on and on. The poem is structured in a peculiar fashion such as the effect of the reading is not a realization of universal humanity that donne is hinting, but instead it is the lifecycle of each human being, that is being propelled towards his/her’s death and even god’s schemes which undermine the imagined community of men. Rather than being dismissed as a utopia, the meditation stresses the urgency of how the men thrive in the company of his fellow human beings and how he is but an insignificant component of the whole scheme that is set up with his own set of abilities and the dispensations in the world-order. Donne also knows that it is not right for one man to grow and thrive in society without the love or affection of his fellow-citizens, neighbors, and if that ever happened the person would become isolated and insular that it would be like an island where there is no one. Donne insists on how the individual/individuals are but a piece to a larger mass of human life, and can only exist in conjunction with the outside of the world. What I liked about this poem is that John did not only think about mankind but thought about how we are all apart of an Island and that we all have a part to play in the world. I agree that with every experience that you get when someone is gone it mentally prepares you for yours and the next that may happen.

2nd comment Characteristics of Resilient people by Set to go
This informational text is talking about the ability to be resilient and being able to bounce back from difficult times in life and experiences, the best way to have resilience is to learn it from lessons and the skills/abilities that we get to know more and more about as we grow up and face our difficulties, whatever they may be. The reason why resilience is important is because if you have it you can face any obstacle or roadblock and overcome that obstacle to make you stronger than when you started to face the problem, but resilience isn’t always the solution to your problems but with it, it will help you cope through tough times, adjust through change and help you stay on your feet. One of the best things that you can do to have resilience in your life is if you have a support system like parents, friends, relatives, teachers, etc and with a support system in place, you get you understanding, guidance, comfort, confidence because it is always good to learn from your peers because they know more than you do. Another thing that will help is giving back and keeping up commitments or commitment to a cause like donating to charity every year or volunteering can help you focus off your problems and helping others helps expand your life skills and problem-solving skills. Another thing that you can do to be resilient is to learn to accept emotional pain and stress is part of like and everyone goes through it but some don’t allow the difficulties to define/change who they are or who they want to become in their life. A resilient person would avoid feeling sorry for themselves instead, they would recognize their feelings, acknowledge the problems that they are facing and have trust in themselves that they can face their problems and believe they have the strength to get through it. I agree with this text because I have met people who have done those things and they became better through those experiences and tips and I liked this text because then someone can read it and use those tips to help their life and become better in the long run.

Ariah Helseth

The first story is something Far in the Past. The story I read for this topic is called “Introduction to World War II”.This was written by USHistory.org. This story talks about the beginning of what happened before World War II. World War II was the second global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945. It involved a lot of different countries. I talked a little about the end of the Great Depression and the end of World War I and how they were certain that War would happen again. I talked about how Germany had impressive power and how strong the German army was in World War I. At the end Japan was the one that brought War to the US. Americans tried to stay isolated. Europe and Asia had established a firm foothold prior to American entry into the conflict. World War II was fought over differences left unresolved after World War I. Over 400,000 Americans were killed in four years of involvement. Over 20 million Soviets died. Over 110,000 Japanese Americans were forced from their homes and sent to distant relocation camps. The camps had poor living conditions. It talks about how the major cause of this war was because it was the rise of fascism in Europe. This war encouraged social and economic change for America. This war causes a lot of different things and a lot of the things it caused were bad things and I agree that this war made a lot of bad things happen as it was starting and as it was going on. This war made a lot of changes in the world and it made America different in some ways. I agree that this war was bad and it changed the lives of Americans and how things would be done in America. This war was really bad and it changed a lot of things.

The Second story is something very Recently that happened. The story I read is called “Smartphones put your privacy at risk”. This was written by Maria Temming. It talks about how phones collect information about people and the different ways that information is being used or spread. Smartphones have become essential companions. It talked about if you’re like most smartphone users, the device was probably on the whole time, even when its screen was blank. Online app store Google Play has already discovered apps that are abusing their access to those sensors. Scientists have written code to infer keystrokes on number and letter keyboards for different types of phones. Other researchers have paired motion data with microphone recordings. It talked about how a phone's mic can pick up the soft sound of a fingertip tapping on a screen. Such high success rates come mostly from tests made in controlled settings. It says that motion sensors also can help map someone’s travels such as on a subway or bus ride. I talked about how a tracking app picked out which segments of the subway system a user was riding on. Nowadays it is getting ever easier for an untrustworthy party to figure out private details of your life from data they get from your phone’s sensors. I agree with all this type of information about smartphones because it is true that you don’t always have much privacy on any kind of device. I agree that we should be more careful when it comes to our smartphones or any other device we may have. I think that when we are done using our phone or other device that we should shut it off complete until the next day or unless you have to keep it on for energy reasons only. I think that we should always be careful when it comes to things like this.

WHEN YOU ARE OLD
by William Butler Yeats -1892

This poem was written for you to read when you are old and living on your own. This is one of those poems that is written for the future. In the beginning, it says to read this book when you are old and gray, full of sleep and nodding to the fire. One question that I had when reading this was if it was referring to reading this book or if he meant to read this “book” or another book. I think as I read it more, to me anyways I think the “book” he tells you to read is the past. Or all of your memories whether that be a photo album or just going through your memories in your head I’m still not sure. You look back at memories and remember when you have first experienced them. When you were younger and more free. You have had so many great and lovely moments in your life. Sometimes we just need to take a second when we get older to look back at those times to remind us of what makes us happy. Looking at the past can help us remind us what we looked like in our younger days and make you appreciate them that much more now that you can get them back and now that you are old with gray hair sitting by the fireplace. In the story, he must have loved someone that is no longer with him. He reminds us that our loved ones are still there with us, looking down at us from the mountain tops. Yes, it is sad for when our loved ones leave us. But there face is always hiding in a crowd of stars, you just have to look up to see them.

Self Care
By Set to go -2019
Before even reading this I try and know some of the importance of taking care of yourself whether it be what you eat, your physical activity, or your sleep schedule. All three of these things and many more variables affect your life directly and with a huge effect. Yes, I do understand with modern living it can be difficult to do some of these things between high prices for fresh foods, the convince of fast foods, long work hours and busy schedules. However, it still doesn’t change the fact that it is our body that we are talking about. We only have one chance to treat it the best we can so we can feel and function so much better. The amazing thing about our body is that it has it’s own “alarm systems” on when we lack certain things in our body to keep it as healthy as it needs to be. No matter what anyone says your body is fully rested at 9 hours of sleep. Altho this is tricky to get in this many hours due to work and busy schedules, but staying up all night to talk to friends or play video games is not healthy. Your body feeling not recharged or bags under your eyes is your body telling you to give it more sleep so it can function at a higher level. Getting into a good sleep pattern is very helpful to get into a healthy sleep schedule. Along with sleep is nutrition, sleep recharges your body at night and nutrition fuels your body during the day. Just like your car, the better fule or gas you put into it the better it runs. But if you start putting cheaper and not necessarily the proper fule your car will start to have issues and not perform the best.

The first story I am going to talk about is Dr martin luther king jr changing the world, First of all it talks about how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was a great leader. Also it talks about how he inspired many people. He also brought alot of changes that are where verry important to everyone in the United States. He is known around the world. He was the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. That is a prize given to a person who was important to the world or who still is. He wanted people to change things peacefully he also thought that violence only led to more problems. In my opinion from what i know about him he helped alot of people and he stopped alot of problems I think that he was a great person that wanted good changes.

The next story I am going to talk about is called growing up. First it talks about how Maria was a tenth-grader and she felt she was too grown up to have to go on family vacation. It talks about how her family had driven three hundred miles to see their uncle in West Covina. It talks about how There was nothing to do and how the days were hot with a yellow sky thick with smog they could feel on their fingertips. Then they played cards and watched game shows on television. Then it talks about how her family planned to visit an uncle in San Jose. Her father promised to take them to Great America but she knew that the grown-ups would sit around talking for days before they remembered the kids and finally got up and did something. They would have to wait until the last day before they could go to Great America. It wasn’t worth the boredom. She told her parents she didnt want to go.

The poem that I choose from the past is How Jackie Robinson changed baseball. It was hard for this at that time to play because at that time society wasn't accepting all kinds of people from different cultures so it wasn't the time colored people along with white Americans. In 1947 Jackie Roosevelt Robinson became the first African American to play on a Major League Baseball team. He was born in Georgia on January 31, 1919, and also he was the youngest of five children. He was encouraged to play football, basketball, track, and baseball he broke many records in his school. In 1938, he was arrested after disputing the police's detention of one of his black friends. While he was assigned in Texas, Robinson got into a non-segregated bus, but he was told to sit in the back anyway. He refused, and military police took him into custody for his insubordination.

The poem that I choose is CELL PHONES CAN BE ADDICTIVE. In this article, it talks about how college students use their smartphones for nine hours each day. The study, it says that teenagers spend more time using their phones than getting enough sleep. Using technology becomes an addiction like a drug addiction such as alcohol, narcotics and the nicotine in cigarettes. Some cell phone users show the same symptoms that a drug addict might have, Roberts explains.

This is the crazy true story of a guy that got caught for murder because his victim was wearing a Rolex, After stealing over 3 million dollars from his clients in Canada Albert Walker fled to England where he came up with a new name. And there he met Ronald Platt, a guy who loved Canada so much he even had a maple leaf tattoo to his hand, They became Business partners until Ronald wanted to move to Canada, but since your business partners Albertson needs to get some stuff from Ronald, he has to Ronald's driver's license, signature stamp and birth certificate. And when Ronald left, Albert started using the new name Ronald Platt, but then Ronald came back and Albert had to do something, so we took him on a boat and killed him. When his body was found, it was already decayed, but he was still wearing a Rolex. The cops found it belonged to Ronald Platt, but Ronald Platt was still alive and well and it didn't take long for the cops to put it together and arrested Albert. It's kind of funny but he could have well gotten away with it if you would have just taken off the Rolex. If it was now and days I don't think she would have gone as far but since it was well over 20 years ago you had a lot more easy way of getting away with illegal stuff.

So I was reading about weird things around the world and this caught my attention. This is 100% real. A man believes in something called Auntie natalism which basically says human beings need to stop giving birth to babies now and the human race to just die off now while we have the chance. This man goes one step further, he said he never asked to be this world and although he says he loves his parents and has a great relationship with them he is suing them this is legit I'm not even joking he is suing them for giving birth to him without his consent Rafael's parents who are both lawyers said that if he can come up with any rational explanation as to how they could have got his consent to being born they'll accept all fall. No, I understand that this is on the news and what not but it makes me think is their others that have tried doing this but weren't successful not saying that this guy was successful or anything but he was able to get the reaction of a lot of people and get some followers from this which is kind of insane. I truly want to understand where these types of people get their ideas from cuz it could either be from just an epiphany or maybe they are on some type of drug and this is all Just an Illusion to them. Personally I disagree with this whole thing like there shouldn't be any reason to get consent to be given birth to and so what this guy is doing is rightfully wrong and I feel like he should have some type of punishment for this type of force a crime.

Far in the past
Thank you m'am by Langston Hughes
It's about a woman nearly getting her purse stolen and then actually taking care of the boy, in the end, it was something I wasn't expecting it was a touching story about a woman helping a young boy to stop being a thief as she shown him kindness in the end and even gave him the money, in the end, I think he's an orphan as he says no one is home but it could be he didn't want to get caught but I believe that it was a story about just helping a young kid from doing bad with his life.

THE COST OF PRISON IN DOLLARS AND LIVES
by Michael P. Jacobson 2014
What I've done is going over the science and some of the facts about children facing incarceration as it shows children who are juveniles aren't competent enough to stand trial as it goes over for how they have a different cognitive process that affects adolescents ability to make good judgment calls compared to adults as over punishing them can lead into worse dilemmas as they may keep going down that road if they are and it is shown that kids in long term educational and economic effects on the youth and the communities supervision and treatment are far more successful and appropriate for juveniles and I agree as it'll be less costly to all of us and may help kids more than just locking them up.
