1). What were your favorite childhood books? I loved the Berenstein Bears and Franklin. My mom teaches elementary and preschool kids. She loves those series, so she read them to me a lot. We used to read every day mostly before bedtime.
2) Who read books to me? My mom read most, but I also had other family members read to me. Sometimes it wasn't even a book that was read. My grandpa used to read me the newspaper.
3) Did shows like Spongebob teach you humor? No, I was not allowed to watch Spongebob as a child. My parents did not think that it was appropriate. I watched it a couple of times, and then I tried something to another child that was on the show. My parents didn't like that, so they did not let me watch it anymore. I learned a lot of my humor from my dad.
4). Who were your favorite teachers? In elementary school, I liked Mrs. Beesley, Mr. Horst, and Mr. Mashlin. In middle school and high school, Ms. Mayo, Ms. Ringley, and Mrs. Zell, Ms. Leesch, Ms. Eichelberg, and Mr. Christensen. I have a hard time with this question as everyone has had an impact on me. Some good and some not. I like teachers for different reasons. My mom is my favorite of all time teacher as she has taught me to be the person that I am today. She has been a huge support to me and she always believes in me.
5). When did you realize you could put letters together to make words. I worked a lot with my preschool and kindergarten teachers. My mom also did sight words with me and we would put them together.

My dad would read the Dr. Seuss books to me. My mom would read the Disney books to me and also sometimes the Dr. Seuss books too. My aunt would read the “I love you more” book to me. Did shows like Spongebob teach me humor? Some of the shows I used to watch a lot when I was a kid that taught me humor were the Newhart shows, Little Rascals, Tom and Jerry, Andy Griffith Shows, and I Love Lucy shows. These shows I still watch to this day because I enjoy them so much. Some of the other movies that I watched and still watch are The Best of Lassie, Flipper, and some of the old good classic family movies like Swiss Family Robison, Treasure Island, Old Yeller, 20,000 leagues under the sea, and Davy Crockett.
