All three of these stories connect somehow. I know how. They all connect in a way that someone is being positive or trying to be positive. The Shawshank Redemption Andy tries to be as positive as he possibly can. At some points he gets angry and mad at himself or the people around him but he manages to get himself back up and get out of the jail. Andy had a lot to go through like the sisters beating him up and the guards always putting him down. He had to fight to get over that and he did that by talking to his friends and making chest pieces for run. The Color purple connects in a way of Celie trying to be positive and not dragging down and crying all of the time. She has a lot of issues in her life and a lot of pressure on her. She has to stay positive for her family and her sister. She has to live with this guy named Mr. Johnson and he beats her up for not doing stuff that he wants. He separated Celie from her sister and she had to get through that and the way she got through that was Nennies letters. At one point Celie did not get any of Nennies letters because Mr. Johnson took them and hid them from her. So she was really sad and did not want to be with Mr. Johnson anymore but she had no choice. At a point in the film Celie's step dad dies and she thought that was her real dad. But it really wasn't, her real dad died before she was old enough to know. She had to push through that and get over it by Shug, Shug helped her get over the negative things. Shug helped by giving her worth and singing to her. Celie had a favorite song that Shug wrote and she would play whenever she was not around Mr. Johnson. Shug teaches her a lot of things about guys and she learns her worth and why she is in the world. Shug was the positive booster in this film. The Coffee Bean is full of positive vibes. The coffee bean is the positive in this book. The coffee bean helps everyone that has a bad day. The coffee bean helps by giving people happiness. The coffee bean helios by getting rid of all the stress and worries going on the the world. The coffee bean helps your body relax and calm down. If you come home after a long day at work the coffee bean will help with that because it calms you down, it lets you breath. The coffee bean beings happiness and joy.

The Shawshank Redemption, Color Purple, and Coffee Bean have many things in common when it comes to ups and downs, hope, choices, and issues in life. The first-two movies Shawshank Redemption and Color Purple deal with characters going through hell during a rough era during the old times. What the characters get is being treated horribly, not able to go places, get beaten and violated, and thinking about death all the time when they’re going through hell. Then everything changes in the two movies when the characters get their courage back up, escape, and go somewhere far away to a place where they don’t have to worry about the single slightest thing ever happening to them ever again. The places they go to are places where it’s peaceful looking, no one’s there, and it’s great to look at for a long time instead of run down houses, bars, and people getting hurt or killed. In Coffee Bean the guy has his ups and downs like the characters in those two movies except he doesn’t go through a rough time and he got his courage back up at the end and he wanted to tell his friends and families about it. It was the same way that the characters in those movies did to their friends in families when they wanted to reunite with him or her. The Color Purple and Coffee Bean share the same fate and the fate is families and friends. The Shawshank Redemption and Coffee Bean have a supporting character that always gives the character courage and they make it. The difference between all of them is different themes, tones, events, eras, places, and what the characters and supporting characters do for a living. The same thing that all characters and supporting characters show is getting through things, going to paradise, and reuniting with their friends and families who helped them get through. If they didn’t have no one to help they possibly wouldn’t make it within a day and everything would be over with.

There are many ways that they all connect. One of the ways is that they are coffee beans. Celie was a carrot almost throughout the whole movie, but near the end of the movie she became a coffee bean, because she stood up for herself and went with Shug. The reason why she was a carrot almost throughout the movie is because she wouldn’t stand up for herself. She would take the beating from Mr. and take care of all the kids and do nothing about it. The shawshank Redemption is the same with the other narratives because there are coffee beans in the film. Andy is a coffee bean because he kept strong through the rough times when he was getting raped. He also stayed strong through all the time when he was sent to solitary for long periods of time. Everything that was happening to him when he was in prison he wanted to kill himself but he stayed strong and fought through all of the pain. He stayed strong so he could break out of prison and to be free. In the book The Coffee Bean the kid goes through rough times. Like going through high school. He was a star player on the football team and he got hurt, losing all hopes to go to college. Instead of just quitting he turns around and makes a business to become successful. But even after he becomes successful he still goes through tough times and he still needs to keep his head up and move forward. His business starts to fail and it is hard for him to keep up with all of the bills. For a little bit he wasn’t a coffee bean and not thinking positively. But then he remembered about the coffee bean and started to think positive and started to work hard to save the business. It also helped the business by showing all of the other employees that positivity can make a difference.

Shawshank Redemption, the Color Purple, and The Coffee Bean all have hope in their stories. They all have hope because each person from the narratives and author were all given hope during their life. Celie was given hope when she did a little snooping around Mr. Johnson’s house and found Nettie’s letters that she had written throughout the years. Once she found those letters she was very happy to know that Nettie was still alive. Celie had bad times to like when her father raped her and he just gave her away to some strange man who was trying to marry Nettie but her father wouldn’t let that happen. She also had to face Mr. Johnson abused her when she did something wrong or took her time or didn’t listen. Damon was given hope when Mr. Jackson told him about the Coffee Bean and Damon took it to heart and became a better and positive person while in prison, which is a hard thing to do because prison isn’t supposed to be easy on convicts. Damon was given hope many times, like when he got parole because he wanted to be useful in life and now he is an author and talks about his past and doesn’t want kids to go down the same path. Even though he is still on parole until 2073 he can still tell us to go down the correct path. Damon went down a very bad path in life, but he didn’t let those bad choices get to him. He had a mentor in prison who taught him what to do. Andy was given hope when Tommy told him who really murdered his wife and her lover but the warden didn’t want Andy to go to court because Andy would leave and who would get the warden rich. The only reason why the warden kept Andy is that he was using him to get very rich and he was the only smart inmate there. At the end of all of these narratives and books, it taught us that being positive goes a long way and don’t let anyone get in the way and bring you down.

Besides having the word "The" in the title. All 3 of these stories do share some themes of overcoming something in life. For The Shawshank Redemption: It's Andy's journey of escaping the prison to be a free man once again. For The Color Purple: It's about Celie's journey of finally getting independence and leaving Albert Johnson for good and be reunited with her family again. For The Coffee Bean: It's about the main character's journey of becoming a coffee bean and try to transform the world around him. Each story has its own smaller comparisons but does share the overall theme of overcoming a harsh challenge in life. Purple and Coffee do share the theme of always stay strong even in the direst or depressing circumstances the characters face in their life. The only most separated one is Shawshank which has more to do with the concepts of Hope and Redemption for oneself and delivering justice to those who deserve it along with the meaning and value of true friendship between others. You can make more and more and more comparisons about how similar each one of these is but we shouldn't go too deep into all of these or we might end up being nutjobs trying to find meaning in anything in life.

I don’t want to waste anyone’s time, with nonchalant rambling so rant mode doesn’t come out so I’ll explain why with the ABC method, it’s like the Masuda Method, but we aren’t playing Pokémon, and we aren’t catching shinies either
A: Shawshank showed us that hope still lives even if we are getting bum-rushed or being threatened by the guards to keep us quiet

B: the color purple shows us that if you keep even a shred of hope in isolation of the outside world, you will eventually break free (Queen song released in 1984 and was taken off MTV because of cross-dressing)

C: tells us to keep up hope wherever we go telling us to stop the pressures of the world from trying to take us down

The color purple and Shawshank redemption both have a lot in common more than the coffee bean does with either one of them. The color purple ends with Celie reuniting with her sister once again. After all those years of separation. Red was separated from Andy after he escaped Red had to find the clues to get to Andy. Just like Celie found where Nettie was because of the letters her and Avery Shug found. Nettie ran away to a safer place instead of with that man her and Celie lived with. Andy found a safer place to live to his dream actually and got to live it out with his best friend. I think what the Coffee bean has in common with the other two Andy became a coffee bean by educating other prisoners and helping them get their gpa. Celie became a coffee bean for standing up for herself helping shug get out of that hole she was in. Got her own store and changed the people around her for how generous she is. Same for shug. Damon was in a prison just like Andy and they both never got tattoos or joined again, both made an effect on the prisons they were in. Helped change it for the better. Andy made a bigger and better library for all the prisoners to use and educate themselves and others. Shawshank had Crook or whoever his name was hanging himself and carved his name and that community home whatever it was. He was a carrot for sure since he tried to kill that other guy while crying in that process of slicing that guys neck just because he didn’t want to go out in the real world since it has all changed since he had last been in the outside world. The color purple had Celie’s father or who she thought was her father pass away by “natural causes.” Tommy also died in Shawshank by the warden. Warden shot himself because he knew he was gonna have to pay his debt back for all the bad things he has done like Damon but he actually got to pay his debts in the proper way and still is to this day. The color purple has a good evolving egg. What I mean by that is Alber aka the minister of Celie in the color purple. He tried paying his debts by going to the border control or something along those lines and gave his money to them to have Nettie back into America to reunite with Celie once again. Which is a start for him to pay his debts. You can pay your debts and still be an egg or a carrot. Like Damon said there will be days where you will be an egg or a carrot it is human nature. MIster also kept his distance from her. Sofia I think was a coffee bean from the get go since in the color purple she stood up for herself, did not let anyone drag her down to her level nor did she let any man boss her around like Albert would do to Celie. zody

All of these stories have the same message, which is in a situation full of darkness bring light. Andy is in the darkness when he enters the prison and he brings light into his situation by bringing joy and happiness to himself and the other inmates. Celie brings light to her situation by gaining faith when she sees the letters from netty, creating a better mood also when shug brings her into her music. The coffee bean shines light into the main character's life when the teacher gives him a simple lesson on the boiling water when very stressed with life. Between Celie and Andy there is a character of redeeming their inner self and this is shown when she maintains her character traits and pleasing master. Andy does this when he has done a few years in prison and has joy like he did before his wife cheated on him. The things that match with all of the stories are that time moves together fast. By this I mean that Andy got older during the movie and so did Celie and the main character of “ The Coffee Bean ''. Another similarity between andy and celie is getting sexually affected without even the slightest consent. As seen in both movies, Andy and celie got raped by people or a person. A difference that “The Coffee Bean” has is that the setting is not imprisonment. What I mean by that is that celie is locked in “misters” home and Andy is in a literal prison, while “the coffee bean” is living daily life. They all maintain character development and grow during these forms of entertainment. These characters are not static characters which means that they do not undergo important changes. All of these characters build with big change and create a care aspect for them. The way that andy impacts us and makes us care is when he shows his optimism in prison and creates a peaceful environment around him. “The Coffee Bean” makes us care by him creating a huge life with success and failure that improve and transform along the way. Celie was a little different on the aspect of care because most of the reason we care about her is that she was treated so poorly. Both “The Coffee Bean” and Andy get in a bunch of different stressful situations unlike celie. Celie goes through less situations where she was going through situations that were different, although she did improve something else when those situations occurred. Another similarity of “The Coffee Bean” and Andy is that something causes greatness and peace in their lives. This is shown when “The Coffee Bean” gets successful and is happy. Andy shows this when he is being treated well by the warden and the other officers. All of these stories show courage by doing something extravagant, for example when Celie talked back to “Mister” and when Andy decided to escape prison, then when “The Coffee Bean” went back to making a difference in the people around him when he was in harder places. Celie and “The Coffee bean” are the same in a way of going through a same message, big change is good.

how are they all connected one way is through hope. the main character must have hope to move on and try to survive even though so of them will lose hope and may not get it back but that what drives us forward and making it in this would in The Shawshank Redemption addy had hope when he went to prison but he lost it after 4 years of getting messed with but he managed to get it back after realizing that he was not the one that killed his wife and the golfer so he pretended like he doesn't know anything and managed to escape from prison and moved on. the same thing for the movie The Color Purple there was a lot of thing going on in the movie like when Sofia lost her sister because of Mr.Jonsen. but over the years they started to get old and lost a lot of hope but Shugs comes into the play and it made it look like that she was a sister to her which made a difference in the story and made her happy that she had someone else to take to but shugs had to go and witch she an almost lost all of her hope but she comes back with a husband and in a way, she felt bad for not going with her but now she has a second chance to do so and witch she does she made it out a lived her life.

These are all the same because Ceili, Andy, and the boy in the book are all the same because they are making a difference in the world and they get impacted by the world. First, I will talk about Andy. He was at his lowest for a very long time after he got beat and raped by the sisters. He was a carrot at that time because he let it happen sometimes. He was a hard-boiled egg because he lost all of his emotions. He didn’t want to talk to anyone because he got put in the box for 2 months. In the Color Purple Celie was all of them and I will tell you why. She was a hard-boiled egg because when she was getting raped and getting beat she had no emotions. She was a carrot because she fell apart when she was taken away from her sister. She was a coffee bean at the end of the movie where she stood up to Johnson and left with Shug and made a new life for her. In the book, the kid was all three. He was a hard-boiled egg with all the stress. He was a carrot when he was falling apart with all the things happening to him. He was a coffee bean when his teacher showed him a new path and he stuck to that path. They are related because they are all the same. They have some similarities and differences but they are really all the same.

Shawshank redemption, the color purple, and the coffee bean connect because of how the three main characters are able to achieve their goal. when Andy, Celie, and Abe all had their personal problems, and when they were down they still kept fighting through their problems. It sucks how their life at home. In the coffee bean, Shawshank, and The Color Purple they all have hope. hope that they will have a better life with a fresh new start. Andys new start was leaving for Mexico and starting his business, Celie's new start was her leaving Mr. Johnson and enjoying her new life with her kids in her house. and for Damon, his new start was when he got out of jail on parole. And live his life as a coffee bean and sharing it with the world. These three things connect because of how you may be in a low time in your life but there is still a way to be at your high with people who make you feel like you are a coffee bean. Shawshank, The Color Purple, and Damon never stopped being the better person. And each of their stories ended in a good part of their lives. like how Andy got to go to Mexico and start his company, Celie got to be with her sister again and Damon created a book talking about how to be a better you.

i would say all the movies sconnect to hope and never giving up. andy never gave up, he knew he didnt kill his wife, he knew he was a good man and that he didnt desilve to be in jail. but he never used his anyger on others. he helped himself and got stronger and in the end he got out and lived the life he wanted. the color purple same thing with celie she never gave up, she wanted to end it all a few times but she held on and lived and in the end she got her sister and family back. now the coffee bean the coffee bean is the same thing, saying you shouldn't give up and lose hope. that you should always help others and live your life the way you want to. and that's what andy and celie did.

Don't let others get close enough to disappoint you because at one point or another they will hit the right spot to make everything come crashing down. If you have an older sibling ask them if they are wearing a mask or even ask your parents. They will look confused and ask you why you are asking but just ask them again and eventually, they will tell you. To wear a mask is to hold in all your inner pain, suffering and regret. However, instead of getting help, you convince yourself that there are other things that matter more than taking care of yourself or “talking about it”... This is where things go downhill like a snowball it builds, and then the person you once knew so well turns into a hollow shell and just put on this mask that smiles for others so you won't have to admit to yourself later on that you gave others that didn't deserve your trust, love, honesty, comfort, and kindness took everything you had and left you. This is because you let them get too close and now you sit quietly

These three stories are related in both indirect and direct ways. The main characters are what they have most in common. Andy, who was locked away in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, had to persevere, make his prison life as best as it could be, and he succeeded, benefiting the whole prison with the library, making new friends that helped him along the way, and he had hope that one day, he could be free, and set out to succeed. Celie, who was held in a metaphorical prison with her husband Mister. She’s forced to constantly clean the house and be consistently abused by him, but she fought to keep her head held up, she wanted to see her sister, have a better life, her own life. With the help of Shug, she was able to keep her head held high and her hopes even higher. The main character of the Coffee bean also had struggles, from football to his business failing, but with the coffee bean lesson, he had hope, he had set out to make himself better along with his life and everyone around him, even when his company was going under and it seemed like all hope was lost, he help on, and made a big comeback, remembering about the coffee bean and keeping himself strong throughout all of it.

I don’t really know about this movie The Shawshank. What I know is this movie is about hope and how this movie connects to The coffee beans the student doesn't hope until the teacher helps him to make better like don’t lose hope. I am going to connect the book The coffee bean to the cuckoo’s nest and my personal life. In this movie how all the people in the hospital are stressed, depressed how one guy changes their life like how coffee beans change whole water. McMurphy is a coffee bean that changes their life. He teaches them how to live a life and how to enjoy life. How one person impacts other life just like McMurphy. This is what my personal life connect to one time I was so stressed about my family and school I am about to drop out the school because my mom quit working because she is an alcoholic and she got sick and we have to pay for rent, we got a buy food, and a lot of other think need to pay I am the only one the working and I work a part-time job that I earn the money. It only I can pay for my car and insurance. And you know how McMurphy helps them and how he impacts them. and what that actually, one person impacts my life I know I am being stupid this is my last year and I only got three months to finish the school anyhow I came back to school. And however, I am manage everything, after reading this book. I got some motivation to try to bring the coffee bean.
