It has been a very interesting film. It has not caught my attention as much as sling blade did so far but I am equally interested in where the plot will go from where we left off.
I like this movie a lot it gives light onto peoples lives that havent go to much shine into the real world. They have alot of things that they do other then h=no normal human beings that live ther daily life, from day to day. hasert pd.4
Keisha Felcher. So far I think this film is pretty good. It’s interesting on how the child lives on her own in her own house and not with her father. It also shows that she doesn’t want to let go of her mother and she pictures her mother talking from the red dress/jersey. They also have to eat whatever they find for example cat food. I also like how the bathtub people celebrate more than we do. It’s like they are celebrating for a living.
I like the movie so far, it shows where the people who couldn't afford much and who were "poor" were the ones who lived in the bathtub. Which is an area where there is severe flooding. And the people who still live in the nice parts of town built a wall or like a dam so that all of the water wouldn't flood in there neighborhood. But otherwise, I do like this movie so far. roths What i think of the movie so far. I think that the bathtub is out in the middle of nowhere so that why i think that no one really notices them or pay any attention to them. Then hush puppy lives in her own house which i think is not right because that not considered normal all that much and then she ends up burning down her house then she ends up killing her dad by accident because his heart was messed up then as that happens the ice caps fall into the ocean which i think will cause a fluid but i'm not shure.
I think so far it is a good film but I don't know if it will keep my interest the whole times because I hate when he hits the girl. it is a very good movie and I would remanned It to people if they are looking for a good film to see what goes on in the world and how people live. some of us live better than most people in the world.
This movie is good so far. It shows that if your having a bad day just think that your not as bad you could be, like living in a bathtub or living by yourself as a young kid.
I think this movie is phenomenal. I like how it shows the struggles in life. How everything is not perfect. How everybody doesn't have a perfect life how there are people in this world that live like this and we can help and only change a little bit of there lives. It's interesting that they except this life. The levy that blocks them from the city reminds me of the wall the Trump want to build. How that stops them from getting in a better life where they can live better and survive a little bit better. -Finn
I think the movie is different than any other movie I've seen before. it shows me how other people can live with a little bit of nothing. it different how people can live there life's a different way than everyone else in the world. It's pretty cool how a 6year old girl can survive on her own and also have her own house Hushpuppy show's its gonna be difficult to live on your own and the struggle to live by yourself.

Valdez- I like this movie a lot I thought it has some good meaning to it! I would have to say that Wink is my favorite reason being is that everything he does is for his daughter even though it may seem harsh. He is training her to be strong because he knows he is dying.

What I think of the movie so far is that it’s interesting I like how they know how to survive in the bathtub and people don’t necessarily know where they are and that’s what they want I like how the little girl has her own house and the dad just rings a bell and the little girl know that’s at supper time. Right away it seems that dad doesn’t care about her as much as a normal parent would but he probably wants her to try and survive on her own.
Riley Larson Applied English 12 Pd.4 I really like this film. I believe the reason I was so interested in this film is the way it can inform or teach people about life. Watching this film shows many different life forms and styles and shows that all religions and forms of life do not get treated the same and live the same way. It was really an eye-opening film for me because all the differences in their lives compared to mine. Like I live way differently than them and I am highly joyful about my life and happy the way it goes even though life is not always easy and that goes for everyone.

I am really not to impressed with this movie. I mean I'm happy to be watching a movie rather than be reading a book or be doing no red ink, but I just don't find it interesting. Even though it is the only movie in this class that I didn't really enjoy I do think it is something at least worth learning from because it's good to know how other people live whether you agree with how they live or not. Learning about other people provides someone more perspective about themselves and the more perspective someone has on the world around them the better they can be. -Joseph Wardlow
I don't think it depicts a really good father-daughter relationship like it should. If you're sick or something happens you should let your kid know, and not just ignore them or leave them. It's interesting how it like depicts her, how caring she is, and how she doesn't really need anyone to help her get by, she just loves her dad and wants him around because she cares about him. I think that maybe he could show a little more love towards hushpuppy because he really doesn't treat her very well and it seems like other people and her dad only care about drinking and having fun instead of caring for themselves and their loved ones.-Zoie hite
