I have to say that my favorite part of the movie "Life of Pi" would have to be when he was on the island with all of the meerkats, When he was on the island, that changed the whole story, one reason was because Pi was about to give up and let God take him to see his family. But then, he ran into this island and it gave him new hope to live. He thought that he could stay there forever and live happily. Until he found all the bad things on the island. The island was actually carnivorous, and he knew the island would eat him alive if he stayed. So at this point in the movie, he went against all odds and decided his own fate, and he knew he wanted to survive. I believe that the island was a wake-up call for Pi and that he could make his own decision. And he did. After getting ready for the journey ahead he called up Richard Parker and they set sail. Pi survived and it wouldn't have been for the island that God gave him. - Haas
Meinert I don’t have a favorite part of the movie because I have seen it a bunch of times, but if I had to pick one it is when Pi finds out that he isn’t the only one on the lifeboat or when he sees the tiger looking into the ocean and then Pi does and sees the boat that sank, his mother, Papa, his brother and all of the animals and people that sank with the boat. Another part I liked was when he got to the carnivorous island and he started to eat the ground and when he found the watering hole that he drank the water. I also liked that as soon as he found the tooth he went to the boat and called the tiger to get into the boat. He found out when he was sleeping that the pools of water had some type of acid in it killing all of the fish.
Bruce What 150+ words about your favorite part of life of pi So my favorite part of life of pie is that when they start sailing on the big boat with the animals underneath of the boat and his dad is giving them there medicine for the animals. Then they go to bed and pi wakes up to something happening outside and he goes look to see what it is and it is a big storm. And why that is my favorite part about the life of pi because then you can realize what urged him to go look what it is and to see what happened to all of animals which is sad because most of them die from drowning to the bottom of the ocean except for the tiger and the monkey and zebra. Also why this is my favorite of the movie because when he looks down he says his parents name and how he is going to miss them and just looks sad and thinking now he is on his own. But he is not just on his own he has the tiger with him to help him stay alive and keep going. Finally, I like this part because when he looks down at the boat it reflects off the water and see it glowing.
What is my favorite part of the life of PI? I would say that my favorite part is when he is on the boat and he never loses hope and just keeps moving forward. He says that Richard Parker is the things that are keeping him alive on the raft because it keeps him busy thinking of ways that they can get along. I like how he uses animals and the way they are to demonstrate the people’s personalities that he was actually with. I like how he trains Richard Parker so they can get along and work on things together instead of against each other. I like how on the island he finds so much hope but it was all just his imagination, like when he found the tooth in the flower and that gave him the hope to go home. Finally, I like how when he told the Chinese people the story he told them the story with the animals not the people, but they didn’t believe him.
Webb, Parker My favorite part would have to be the other explanation of what happened in that boat a more realistic and gruesome way to see it but I enjoyed it as it's probably actually what happened to him on that boat and his mind protected him by creating that story is what I think I love it for my favorite because of how sudden and twisted it became from a story of finding his way with a Bengal tiger to a dark twist which is what I prefer in my movies because I don't like happy endings and I believe that would be the real story he told them but only decided not to use it because of how much bad shape he was in and didn't want to push this kid any further in there mind. I love this movie because it gave two stories the one you see and the one you hear about and its up to you to decide if it's real..or not

My favorite part of the movie Life of Pi is when he finally was able to get enough courage to get on the boat with the tiger. The reason that is my favorite part is that he was able to get strong enough to have enough mental courage to get on the boat with the tiger. He figured out that if he learns how to somewhat train the tiger that they will have their own areas and boundaries and that they can work together. Another reason that part is my favorite is that the tiger and he learn how to work together and how to survive off each other and learn each other's boundaries and how to work around them so they both can survive. I also like that part is because the boy learns that he would not have been able to survive without the tiger being on the boat. I also liked the fact that the tiger had realized that it will not survive without the boy so they learn how to help each other. I also liked it when the boy realized that the tiger was struggling to get back on the boat so he helped the tiger up on the boat.
How he finds an island and tries to make it work for him and let the tiger get out and run around and find some food and then the tiger runs back to the boat when it hits nighttime and the water changes to an acid water and they all run to the trees. Then they wake up with the meerkats crawling all over them and they keep trying to get them off of them and they are making Pi mad cause they get right back on him . he can call the tiger just by whistling and he comes running i think that is really cool cause they dont do that because they are not trained in the wild to do that and that is the only one. And that they are not dead yet from drinking nothing on the boat and they get so weak that they can hardly walk and they don't have any energy to run or anything till after they eat something Anderson
Riley Schroeder I like when he started to tame the tiger and tried to claim his own territory by peeing on the boat. Then the tiger turns around and pee’s right back at him. That was funny. Also i like the island and when it showed up it makes you think if you got stuck on a island like that what would you do? Would you want to stay or leave it. It would be nice and quit away from all the people and also free food, free living, and free water. The only downside is it would get lonely and some natural instincts would not be met on that island. So ya i dont know it would seem like a nice place to visit to hunt or make a hotel as long as it is above the water. Other then that I don't see why we would ever want to see it. Well i guess we would be able to make the plants into a weapon but WHO WOULD WANT TO DO THAT? It is interesting that the tiger didn’t just eat the kid when he was passed out on the boat. I mean really that would have been a easy kill for the tiger.
My favorite part of life of PI is when he is out on the boat when the storm goes across the ocean and PI is getting ready because it seems like the gods are sending him another challenge to see if he will survive it or not. It’s almost like a test of will and strength to survive when others may not be able to deal with the stress, the sadness, and the only thing that is there is a book to write in other than that he is lonely out there with nothing to do. Another thing about that scene is he lost his journal but if he didn’t lose his journal I think that we might be able to figure out what happened out there but we can’t because he lost his journal that was keeping track of everything that he was doing. Also during the storm scene in the sky, a patch of the sky opened up with light and it only happened once so that is another reason why I think the gods were trying to test him or challenge him to see how far he is willing to go to survive on that boat with an animal.
My favorite part about Life of Pi that he is curious about things when he was a kid he didn't know lots of things when he was a kid he would always ask questions about life like how he asks the preiset why did God let his son Jesus leave his side. And I thought it was kinda cool when he wanted to learn three different religions and when he told his family that he wanted to be baptised. Another thing i like about the movie is that how Pi and the tiger evolve with each other first if they did not get along well together the tiger was alway try to eat pi but then pi got the stomach to tame the tiger so they would not try to kill each other. During the time the tiger got to respect pi cause pi would feed him and save him so during their time on the boat they had a special bond with each other
My favorite part of Life of PI is when he is on the carnivorous island. Just imagine how it can be to leave there will be awesome if the island wasn’t carnivores. How the magesting part how the island save PI’s life and the water and food you can get there it won’t be the same as he had in land, but it will be better than not having anything in the middle of nowhere. It is enough to survive, but with company is very stressful and it gets him crazy every time that he does not have anything to do or when he doesn’t have someone to talk to. One thing that I ask myself is why the ilan has a shape of a woman and why that appears twice in the movie. Does it mean something about religious?. The history of itself is really good and I liked it all. There were not moments that I didn’t like about it.
Ariah Helseth My favorite part of the movie called Life of Pi is the part where he is on the boat with Richard Parker looking into the water and sees all that different stuff in the water. This part is sort of confusing but it looked like he was seeing things that were in his past like his mom and the ship that he was on with this family. I also like the part where he is on the boat and the big whale jumps out of the water and then later there was lots of jellyfish glowing in the water. I really like this part because I think it looks really cool and it looks sort of magical in a way. I think that the whole movie was good. I last part that I liked from the movie was the part where Pi is trying to train Richard Parker to be his friend so that he can be on the boat with Richard Parker at the same time. I think one of the interesting parts of the movie was when Pi got to the Island. I thought this was interesting because of the way the Island looked and what was on the island and also what the island was made of.
My favorite part of the movie is when he reaches the floating carnivorous island. This is my favorite part of the movie because it tests Pi and it kinda depends on if Pi’s decision if he survives or not. Regardless of Pi’s decision if he would not have found the island he and Richerd Parker would have died at sea. The island came right when they were running out of food and freshwater. The whole entire island was made out of plants and had hundreds of Meir cats running around with wholes full of freshwater. This gave both Pi and Richard Parker a chance to eat till they couldn’t eat anymore and not worry about going hungry. On the island, Pi found a tooth and realized that if he stayed on the island forever he would too eventually die along with whoever was there before him. Write 150+ words about your favorite part of Life of Pi. I really don't have a favorite but if i had to pick one I think I would do the Island. Because there is so much mystery and it makes your mind think whats real whats not. Also why does this happen and how. Like first of all if you can eat that whole Island don't you think with that many meerkats you think there wouldn't be much food left like those meerkats took up like 50% of the Island. Also how is this Island poison at night I thinks it means the butchers body would be rotten by the end of the night. There is so many questions to be asked. I feel like the more you watch this movie the more you uncover so I will have to watch it a few more times so maybe I will understand.
I thought that my favorite part about this life of the pi was when they made it out at the end. I think this was my favorite part because even though I kinda already knew this would happen because almost every movie ends with a happy ending or it has a second part to the movie. I also thought that my other favorite part was when he used his creation to make a float for him and then the animals keep the other one. I personally could not have imagined being on my own in this movie or in general. This is my favorite part because it showed not just me but the class how to always find positivity in life and to not give up. Even when a bad storm hits you should still keep pushing through. I have had multiply favorite parts in this movie but I personally think these are my two favorite parts out of all of them.

It is a really good movie to show people how to be strong with their life and also it shows nothing is Impossible even though at a time we all would want to quit on what we are doing but it is not worth it. I have a lot of favorite part from the movie that I can't even choose one but if I really have to pick one it would be where he was trusting a tiger to stay with when I this time don't even trust each other with other people it is really surprising even though it might not be a real story it really teach me something that I have experienced in my life before.
