200 thoughts about writing letters. Theres tons of different things about letters that are good and bad for instance its not fun to try to meet a word count goal because you get to the point where you feel lost in thoughts. Last year when we wrote letters i wrote to the south dakota state of education asking about math and how much i hate it. I wrote him a full page and he sent me a fully page back explaining to me why its important to take classes that push you out of you comfort zone. Writing theses letters can be really fun until there not i spent a lot of time writing a letter to a bike company called trek i was not impressed with the model of bike they sold me it didn't perform right so i took the time to write a page and a half letter and got nothing back its really frustrating putting in time and effort and getting nothing back but at the end of the day im just gonna have some fun and put everything i got into letter its gonna make a great story and maybe ill get want i want in the end Meier
When we previously wrote letters I had some issues. I’m usually not one to write things or ask people for a response or object in return. But in doing so I believe it’s given me more confidence than I previously had and also increased my writing ability. I am looking forward to writing another letter in my future as I firmly believe it’ll increase my abilities once more. This time I could care less about a response, as my previous letter did not receive one. I believe I’ll be able to use this time to form a detailed thank you to the people of my choice for doing what they do best. Most people will probably write to somebody famous, but I think I’ll write a letter to some of the more famous light duty diesel companies/shops to inform them of the impact they’ve given me. Over time these people have helped me see what it takes to run/own their own business and how to make the best out of what they’ve got. They’ve conquered many things along their journey and continued to make the best out of everything. Most people in life give up when things get rough, but I feel these people are a very strong role model.
Frankly, writing letters is somewhat a lost piece of art that before the age of things like emails and texting. We had to write letters to someone or a group all around the world through post offices and such. I really never had that much experience in writing letters to others I know. But I have received some letters from places and some friends over the years. From notifications and updates on schedules and other upcoming events for things like holidays and such to small commissioned art pieces. I do know my parents still do send some letters to some of my family and friends all around the country. I do get an odd feeling from reading letters that were meant for someone else like it feels like eavesdropping on a conversation on paper that was meant to be shipped to another person in an envelope of sorts or alongside things like a cardboard package. TLDR I think letters are really great.
*takes a looooooong sip of coffee* It’s hard as heck, although MOST of us did this last year in your class, we basically know what to do for writing letters, type whatever comes into your mind and set your sail to basically tell the target person your feelings towards them, it hits the target personally if you send them a large thank you letter for the inspiration and how much you helped them, if they mostly get straight up emails, you sir have done something that they have never received from a fan, a letter. The person that you have sent the letter to might have hung it up with the stuff that they have at work because their fans have sent mostly emails because it’s like ordering a pizza, you get what you want but get little to no satisfaction of the time and effort, but sending them a letter, is the fact that you are making the pizza, you are adding the perfect amount of sauce, the perfect amount of cheese, the PERFECT amount of toppings, send it while it’s still baking and BAM perfect pizza when the letter is sent to the persons house and it’s warm, fresh, and perfectly cooked, but don’t cook your letter, just send it to that person of your choosing
My first thought about writing letters is to think about what I wanna write to. My second thought is what I wanna put in the letter. I wanna think about what I’m going to put in the letter. I think about putting in authority, passion, or emotion, and what logic I wanna put it in. I think about what I’m thinking about or what I’m feeling. I wanna just wanna help people or help them become better. It’s also really hard for me to think and write about what I’m feeling or trying to help someone. I would like to think and just write a good one for one person to help them a lot. It is hard for me to think of what I’m going to write about because it is hard for me to put on a piece of paper or just google docs. I like to say to that person instead of writing to that person. I can get over that because I wanna get good at writing stuff down. It will be hard for me to do this but I can get over that fact. So this is what I think about before writing my letter to someone or just writing in general. Pfeiffer
I have done this before and I think I would be great to do it again to thank all those people. I think I know what I am writing this year but not hundred percent sure. For my last letter I would like to thank all the people who supported me all these years, people who incurred me to the right path, people who cared about me and helped me with all my homework and other things too. I think I am writing this letter to Ms.Murtha because she helped me a lot since I came here and I know I can still count with her even if I will not be at school anymore, she would still care about me. Since the first day of school which for me was January 18-2018 she has been with me in all different kinds of situations, she has been by my side all the time. I would like to thank more people but I just have to pick one. I am excited to write this letter about her and about all the great things that she has done for me and my family. People should learn from her, she respects your opinions and doesn't judge you.
I do not know exactly what to think about writing letters. I like typing and being on the computer so it will probably be better. If it does not require a bunch research like an essay it will be more interesting to do because we have not wrote many letters, but we have wrote more than a few essays. I think letters are the best way to show being formal to someone because it takes a little bit more effort than calling or texting them. I have not wrote a letter in a while because I have been busy. If i were not busy all the time i would be writing a letter every week. I like writing letters on my own when i am motivated to do so. I hope the letters we are going to write are at least a little bit more fun than essays.I think it will be interesting to write a thank you letter to someone important to me. I kinda am interested to see what the celebrity letter looks like as well. miller
Bhandari My 200+ thought of writing. In this world, there are lots of ways of writing letters and there are all types of different ideas. Some of the ideas of writing a letter are good and some can be bad but it depends on the person or some type of office you are writing letters. My thought of writing a letter is positive and I think it is a good thing to do because sometimes when you write a letter you will be thinking so many things that you want to tell that person. I like writing letters because last year we all wrote a letter to a person that we wanted to. I wrote a letter to a famous soccer player and last year he was from Nepal and when I wrote a letter i didn't get a letter back from him right away but I received it after a couple months. I encourage people to write letters because it will be good practice and you can reach the person that you want. People should be happy that we can write a letter to the people that you want to talk with and reach them and you can also be happy.
writing letters takes time and effort. Making sure your letters make sense is a big thing because you can't just fly through a letter and say thank you and be done you gotta put some effort into it. Like for instance, for my confirmation, I took my time and wrote a lot of thank you's to everyone who came and they all took it the right way and said thank you but with a lot more to say. Writing is kind of fun to be honest because I just write what's on my mind sometimes because I get bored.
my first thoughts about letters are how sometimes I don't know what to write about or who to send it to. most of the time when I write letters they end up getting lost in the mail or the person never sends one back. Letters can be important. letters can be important because they can send important info for the military, Letters can help in a court case. Lately, I have noticed that stamps are getting more expensive. Letters also take more time to do. One disadvantage of letters is that it takes longer to get a reply then texting. Letters haven't been used lately because of texting and phone calls were invented and you will get a quicker response from texting than a letter
Frankly, writing letters is somewhat a lost piece of art that before the age of things like emails and texting. We had to write letters to someone or a group all around the world through post offices and such. I really never had that much experience in writing letters to others I know. TLDR I think letters are really great.
I don’t mind writing. It is really calming and gets me thinking. I think letters will help us get better at writing and help us think even more. I don’t really like reading letters unless they are short because if they are long then it gets boring. Some letters are interesting and others are not. It depends on what you like and dislike. Letters let you think outside of the box and outside of others minds. Letters make you be more organized and help you put words where they need to be. Letters help you with English because you can find things wrong in the letters and you can rearrange the words to make them fit better. You can make letters fun by putting weird and funny words or sayings in them. I like letters because they are interesting and fun. They can be interesting if you make them interesting or if you think they are interesting. I don’t like letters because some of them can be long so they get boring but sometimes thats what makes them good and fun to like.
Rai My 200 thought about writing a letter. I think there are different kinds of writing letters. I do not like writing letters because it takes time to write letters to people. I can not think that much about what I want to write about in person. I can write to a person who lives far away from me but it takes time to send it to mail and I have to write for them to send me back it talk time. I like to call them to talk and ask them to call them then write a letter to the person. It is an easy way to call them rather than write a letter.
My thoughts on writing letters are you have to feel some type of connection when writing to someone. You need to know what they do and what they have been through. Letters can be sad and uplifting, so you gotta show some emotions in your writings. In order to write a good letter, you have to do it from the heart. Tell them what good they've done and made them feel good about themself. Make the person that you are writing to feel comfortable and wanting to keep reading it. Think of the first and tell a funny story about them so it brings a smile to their face. Overall writing a letter takes a lot of effort and you have to do very well at it and take as much time as you want to get a good one.
My thoughts about writing letters again are that they were kinda confusing on the way you had to write them. I had a little trouble with what to write about and who to write them to, but after a couple of minutes thinking about it I finally thought of who to write them to. It was really hard to think about what you wanted to say without saying the same thing over and over or try not to sound like you really wanted something in return. If you wanted something in return you just had to hope they would send something back. Once I started writing it I had a feeling that they would send something back or write a letter to give to you. Writing the letters was pretty hard because I’m not used to writing letters or receiving them. The hardest thing to me about writing them was to write a full page.
Gurung Hi, my name is Budham Gurung. I did this last year and I think it would be good and it would be a great opportunity to send a letter. Last year I sent a letter that was the first letter sent in my life. I wrote a letter about the Brandon Valley School District talking about soccer. I think lots of people like to join a school sports team. The problem is sometimes they don’t have a ride or they don’t have a car so that’s why they didn't join the sports. But these letters I think I will send to somebody else. I think I will send these letters to my favorite soccer players Lionel Andrés Messi. Why I am sending these letters is because last week they had a game champion league they are facing one of the best teams FCB, Bayern Munich they score 8 goals that loss is the biggest loss ever. So lots of people are making fun of that. So I am writing these letters to give him courage.
I think writing letters might help us in the future if we have to write a letter to someone, and because we wrote letters in English we know how to write them and make them explicit. Another thought that I had in writing these letters is so we can reach out to people who we can't walk up to and talk with such as celebrities. My other thought that I have is to reach an NFL player. Maybe to tell them that they are good and maybe encourage them to win games or even make it to the playoffs. But I do know that when I write a great letter to an NFL player I don’t really expect to get one in return. But It is nice to try.
What I think of writing, I’ve never really been a huge fan of writing, I sometimes struggle with thinking about what exactly I want to write and sometimes I can just never think of anything at all, but on the computer it makes it a lot easier to fix, correct, and check. Not only that but it feels like there’s more free range with writing on the computer, it’s faster and just helps you push out your sudden thoughts quickly. I think it’s pretty important to learn how to properly write, it can help you out later in life. We use writing almost everyday throughout the day, like when sending texts to someone or just typing anything out in general. I can sometimes enjoy writing, mainly when I’m able to freely express myself without having to do a ton of research on a specific topic. Overall I believe writing is a very important thing in life, even if I struggle with it sometimes and can’t think of anything to write, it’s a really good way to communicate with others and learn proper grammar that will help you out later in life with having to do writing in college or other situations it’s required.
Writing letters to me is not my favorite thing to do but it is what we need to do to be more formal when it comes to jobs or sending letters to famous people. It is a way to show that you mean business and that you are organized. It shows that you will formally create a letter to show that you either want that job really badly or to show that you mean business when an event comes up. If the event is bad you can send in a letter that shows that you are mad or very very angry with the business or company or whoever you're sending it to. If it is good then you can send in a letter that shows that you are happy with a product or business and you tell them all the good things about it or you could say something that could help improve the product. If you are sending a letter make sure it is correctly drafted and revised if it is not you could get turned down or ignored because they will not take you seriously because your letter looks like garbage. But writing letters is not that bad. I like it because it can show my creativity.
What I think about writing letters, you can write letters to anyone at any time I think it's cool to I Sutton point but it's like if u need to take to someone you know or never meet it can help you talk to new people and get to know them more or maybe you just needed help from someone that can help you but sometimes so I think that it's a good thing to do to right to people
