I would miss Reece's peanut butter cups because I would miss how they taste frozen along with the tallboy colas, the cool refreshing taste of the cola going down my throat along with the crack of the chocolate whenever I bite down, those are the things that I'd miss the most.
I would miss a bunch of stuff but if I would choose one it would be apple cider. I would miss it because it brings you a warm feeling inside. It tastes so good. Apple cider is to me like cocoa is like it to them just the fact it is good and it brings them joy and happiness and warmth.

"There is no later." (53). This is a simple quote that can evolve into many different topics about the future, for me. I see this as a more nihilistic viewpoint of the future from what is going on in the present. The characters we see in The Road are very depressed and almost lost all hope for any possible better future that could fix what is going on in the present. I am never was a negative person about stuff for the future of this rather crazy world we live in currently but I do understand how some who might either be afraid or hopeless if things are looking rather down than up. I always remind myself of a simple quote from Monty Python's Life Of Brian. "Always look on the bright side of life." song played at the end of the film.
The quote “there is no later” means that in their situation there are no more years or days, they don’t talk or think about what day it is or what year or what month it is. These don’t matter anymore because there is no one around and you can’t plan anything like we can today.
The quote “who is anybody” might mean that in their situation there is nobody around and no one to talk to or plan anything with. It means that anybody is nobody because there is no one around.
A luxury I would miss is having friends and family and doing things together with them. I would miss the animals in the streets and the nature animals like bunnies and birds. I would miss my dogs and my cat and my ferret. I love them very much and it would break my heart if I lost them or if they got eaten. I would miss everything I have because I am very grateful for what I have and I would not want anything to change about my life.

The quote I chose is, "There is no later." I'm choosing this quote because it relates to things that happen in my life. "There is no later" means that everything that you want to do or you plan on doing doesn't always happen all the time. The things that happen in the book don't go their way in fact they go in a different direction. For my life, I always think that things are going my way, but when I was reading the book it made me wake up and realized an inch of things do not go my way. Whenever I'm doing something responsible, productive, and smart I sometimes don't get it and I go into another direction, but I still get it even though it's not the same and fast.
The luxuries that I will miss would have to be football. I like watching football and playing it. I would also miss the heating and air conditioning. In the world of the book, there is no electricity so that means no heating or air conditioning. Another thing that I will miss would have to be chicken alfredo. This is my favorite meal and in the world of the book there none of it. I will miss nice people. The reason why I say this is because in the world of the book most to all people will be selfish, they will kill people for a drop of clean water. There will be cannibals. No one will try to help you if you look sick. Another luxury that I will miss would be electricity. Electricity is important so I can see where I am going in the dark, and also keep me entertained. That is another luxury that I will miss, being entertained. In the world of the book, you will be bored all of the time. It will be hard to stay sane.
The thing i would miss most if the world was ending. I would miss my room the most with my big flat screen tv with the xbox hooked up 24/7 i would miss sleeping in my own bed i hate traveling so not staying in the same places every night would kill me in its own little way i like the feeling of safety and when the door closed i know theres nothing in there coming after me i don't even know how to explain how much i would miss my room so if the worlds end you'll know where to find me

something I would miss? music. why do I say this? I say that I would probably miss music more than anything because of the peace it gives. whenever something is going on that is affecting my mind I listen to music to relax. I mainly listen to artists that have messages in their songs, instead of what people are calling rap these days. since all their music is flexing their lifestyle. music helps with focus, motivation, and mood.
I would miss plantain chips those are the best thing on Earth. I would miss how they taste with guacamole, it tastes so good, Plantain chips are amazing.
I would miss my phone because I have to have it on me at all times and if I didn't have it I wouldn't know what to do besides hanging out with friends and playing Xbox. My phone is a big luxury for me it's a need for me.
I wouldn't imagine being in an Apocalypse. Everyone around is just gone and there is nothing left of humanity but you and a few people. And if there are not people then there are no workers and you would have to crave what you eat and what you miss doing. Something that I would miss If the apocalypse happened is water. Water is the most important thing that you would need. You would need water for drinking, showering, cleaning, and making food. I can't imagine going a day without water and how thirsty you might be and also showering too. The earth is filled with water but they are not drinkable since they have salt in them. You can also think "how about the lake and rivers?" well they can be contaminated with stuff that happened to cause the apocalypse in the first place and there are no people willing to clean the waters because they have to try to survive too. So what I will miss if the apocalypse happened will be water.
a luxury I would miss would be my food because it brings me happiness and joy. I would miss my friends because they bring me happiness and they make me feel safe.
“Who is anybody?” is a quote that could mean who is someone truly? Not everyone acts the way they really are around everybody. For every different person that someone is around, a new face is put on as well, meaning if someone was talking to a stranger, they may act a lot differently than if they were talking to a friend. So the quote isn’t asking “Who is anybody” as they've never seen a person before, but more asking what people are actually like, what are their true colors, are they themselves?

I would miss all my friends and family. I know I would miss hanging out with them and having fun and not worrying but if the apocalypse happened I'm guessing most of my friends would die or team up with people and try to live. It hurts to know that I probably wouldn't ever get anything like that again and that I could only worry and work to live. In our lives we don't really need to work to live, yes we need to have a job but we don't have to worry about people killing and eating us every day. Everything is handed to us as teens and children so it would be very hard to go into this life from no here.
I would miss playing games and talking to all the people on it but I would miss my family the most and a lot of my friends.

I feel work makes you spend all the time because you can not spend time with family and other friends. something I feel like the work taking all the time not spending the time with family.
Some of the luxuries I would miss would be waking up on the weekend to go hunting with my dad, brother, and dog. It would be the hardest thing to let go because that's a good way to bond with parents and siblings. Another luxury would be missing your friends because you grew a bond with them over the years and they can be some of the closest people you know and you would have to let that bond go. The last luxury I would miss would have to be wings. You can't go wrong with wings while watching some football.
In the end of the world, people would miss many of their personal items. Whether it’s something too large for them to take/or it’s the last one known to mankind. One thing I would for sure miss is Mtn Dew, as I feel I can’t live without it. Although it’s not healthy for me, I drink at least 3-4 cans a day. Usually during lunch time I buy one of the 1 liter bottles with a couple slices of Casey's pizza or I buy Taco Johns. When I get home after work, I usually have 2-3 depending on the day. Somedays I even drink it for breakfast. I can’t imagine life without it, and I don’t think I want to.

In a luxury world, I would have childhood memories of because it brings me happiness. I still have some memories of Playing soccer in the rain. I would miss my parents because they bring me happiness and they make me feel safe.
"there is not later" to me this means that there is no later so you need to not procrastinate and do it before you are told or before it is due because there is no later in life it is now.
